Are you okay?
Tommy was in doubt. He did not know if she was going to her or not, if he spoke to her or not.
Eva was sitting at his desk looking at a photograph of her with her parents, taken a week before their death, it seemed that she wants to cry. Then he decided to up and went to her.
"I know we promised but I really need to ask if you're okay."
She smiled and said:
"Go ahead."
"Are you okay?" He asked and leaned on her desk.
"I think so. It was just hard to remember the past in this situation." Eva said.
"So ..." Tommy began. "You are the daughter of a mobster and joined the police?" He asked laughing.
"And on top of the Anti-Mafia division." Eva completed laughing too.
"I think I was angry." She continued. "I was angry because my father hid me who he was. I was angry because I found out that my whole life was a lie."
"He tried to repair his father's mistakes?"
"I think so."
"You know what you need now?" Tommy asked, standing up.
"I need to go home."
"You need to drink."
"I need to?"
"Yes. Come on, we drink and then you go home."
"All right."
Eva stood and the two went toward the stairs to leave. When they came out on the street, Tommy put his arm around Eve's shoulders and they walked to the nearest bar, where they drank and talked about the difficult past that both had.
