With the little strength he had, Sasuke took another step forward. He hated it. Every step hurt with the force of a thousand needles. He had to keep moving though. He had to get back. He had to get to HIM. The only thing holding him back is weather or not he would want to see him. Would he forgive him for everything he had put him through? Sasuke hadn't wanted to but he had the life long mission to kill his brother. Now that he had finished he wanted to fix the rest of his life.

Suddenly, Sasuke fell to the ground and yelled out in pain. Everything hurt. He couldn't move other then the trembling from the excruciating pain he was in. It hurt so badly. He couldn't die here. Not without at least seeing his face once more. Not yet.

"Sasuke?!" came a voice; a voice that Sasuke instantly recognized; the one voice that Sasuke had long since yearned to hear.

Sasuke looked up, his eyes glazed over in pain, as he spoke.

"N-Naruto," Sasuke winced in pain. It even hurt to talk. His eyes were narrower, straining to see as his vision wavered in and out.

"Sasuke, what are you doing here. We're right out side of Konaha. Or have you finally finished your goal of killing your twisted brother?" Naruto asked him.

"Y-yeah. He-he's dead." Sasuke replied weekly.

"And now you're trying to get Konaha to accept you back and Tsunade-baachan to fix you with open arms?!" Naruto questioned angrily.

"N-not quite," Sasuke muttered.

"What then?!" Naruto yelled.

"I-I wanted to s-" Sasuke was cut off by a fierce coughing fit and Naruto jumped to his side to help steady him.

"You alright?" Naruto asked, concerned.

Sasuke was about to reply when exhaustion and pain overcame him as he was pulled into the darkness that consumed him.
