Some of his… friends, especially his wife, called him scary. Sweden didn't quite understand that; if anything it was Tino who was the scary one. As if to reaffirm his thoughts a loud crash sounded from downstairs and frantic cries of "Hana! Hanatamago!" could be heard. Many thought that the small Finnish man who acted as Santa was sweet, innocent and shy which was, for the most part, correct however Finland had a dark streak within him. Flinching as the cupboard door was pushed open, the nation relaxed as he registered the trembling form of his adopted son Sealand.
"What's wrong with Mum?" the micro nation muttered as he cuddled up to the taller blond.
"St'ress 'bout t'e dog" Came the reply "Us'ul"
Glancing down at his adopted, albeit EBay purchased child, Sweden remembered the real reason he got the boy. His wife had loved the dog so much that naturally he'd assumed that meant the smaller blond was ready for a greater responsibility; and Tino's happiness was everything to Berwald so naturally he'd taken it upon himself to provide for his wife. However it seemed Tino simply adored the dog and it had been a misunderstanding on Berwald's part. Not to say Tino didn't enjoy a child in the house and, although he did resent being tagged as Sealand's mother, he certainly agreed having the little country had completed their family.
As more crashing made its way up the stairs, Sweden resorted to covering his 'son's' ears to protect him from his mother's concerned cursing. Berwald was certain his beloved wife wouldn't remember tearing down half the house in a panic fuelled search for their pet and he certainly wouldn't recall screaming at Berwald to get looking or get out and if he could remember it at all Sweden could guarantee the normally shy, caring and sensitive Finland would be full of nothing but regret for terrifying the boy, the taller Nordic couldn't help but regret ever letting his wife go to Russia… or maybe this was why the more powerful and possessive Nation had given Finland back…
One thing was certain… it was the last time Sweden was letting Norway borrow the dog for some brotherly bonding with Iceland.
