#1 Avengers, meet Peter Parker
(part 1 of story)
A year after the events of Civil war, Tony Stark, after much deliberation ( and nagging from a certain wall-crawling teenager ) officially invited the Avengers back to the tower (no they didn't sell it).
The only problem was the fact that Tony and Peter had grown closer after Tony acknowledged Peter's tech skills, actually tooking him on as a personal intern. They where so close in fact that they would tell each other everything.
And Tony REALLY throught he told Peter about the Avengers coming back to the tower.
He didn't.
Tony also didn't mention Peter to the Avengers, what would he say anyway? "Hey guys I know things are weird right now but I have this great intern. You all know him, he was running around in that spider onesie at the airport." But Tony being the guy he is, and obviously not wanting to admit to the people who betrayed him, how much this kid really means to him now. So no, he didn't tell them.
How could he?
Peter, on the other hand, was DEFINITELY in for a surprise the next time he was at the tower after school...
Peter walked into the tower on a Friday afternoon with a duffel bag in tow, after begging his Aunt May to let him sleep over at the tower. As he walked towards the elevator Peter felt his phone buzz with a message alert, and sure enough, when he next opened his phone, there was a message from his mentor with a list of items to bring to Tony's lab. This included snacks, drinks and a multitude of different screw parts.
Peter let out a short sigh before stepping onto the elevator which had been helpfully retrieved by F.R.I.D.A.Y saying a quick "Floor 24, please FRI." Which was quickly responded with the usual "Of course Peter."
Peter thanked her absentmindedly as he looked through the list of screw sizes he received on his phone, planing the most efficient way to get the parts and leave so he could hang out with Tony.
After finding the screw parts needed and helping one of his fellow interns, Cindy, with an equation Peter hurried back to the elevator. Although as Peter was on his way back to the elevator his phone buzzed again with another message from Mr. Stark.
"Hey kid, got the goods?"
As Peter texted back absentmindedly "You better hope so, if you don't want a repeat of the 'blast off' fiasco" as he stepped onto the newly arrived elevator, not noticing his company with his eyes glued to his phone, waiting for Mr. Starks reply.
"You and I both know that you and your web fluid can be blamed for all of that"
Peter definitely didn't chuckle as he read this and replied with "sure, sure" not that he knew two men dressed in baseball caps and sunglasses behind him would be able to hear him 'not' chuckle.
A ding erupted from the elevator to signal its stop as the automatic doors opened and Peter swiftly walked out past the common room and towards the lab only to feel a stab of pain making him groan after raming his toe into a metal object lying on the floor. Without even taking his eyes off his phone, he kicked the irritating object away with his other foot and listens as it zooms through the halls. He then lets out a satisfied huff and proceeds to Tony's lab with his duffel, drinks and the snacks in tow.
Little did he know that the Avengers were sitting in the common room, silently watching the small teen that wandered purposefully into their domain. Observing as he not only stubbed his toe on but also managed to kick Thor's mighty hammer, Mjolnir across the floor.
Successfully stunning the group.
