The sound of the coffee maker hissing grabs Benny's attention. Reaching over he grabs his coffee, dashes a little sugar into the murky liquid and continues to the living room. The Cajun stops in the door way when he hears the light thumping of footsteps. He stays there and leans up against the frame and watches as Dean settles himself onto the loveseat with a book. Dean's hair is a mess and he's wearing that shirt Benny lent to him. It practically swallows the smaller man but that doesn't matter. It still looks good on him.
Benny watches as Dean opens his book and removes his bookmark. He lays his book in his lap, pages down, and puts his dark, thick rimmed reading glasses on then continues to read
"Mornin' darlin'", Benny greets from across the room.
Dean jumps at the sound and turns to look at the Cajun. "Holy shit, Benny, don't creep on me like that."
"Thought I'd give ya good scare. What cha readin'?" A grin creeps across Benny's face as he walks towards the small couch.
Dean looks back at his book, bringing it nose-brushing close to his face as his cheeks blush pink. "Nothin'."
"Aha…"
Benny places his coffee cup on a nearby side table and sets down beside Dean. And Dean just shuffles so the book is propped on the backboard, where Benny can't see the title.
"Come on. What's so bad 'bout this book that I can't know?" Benny reaches for it and gets his hand slapped away. "Well then."
Benny lunges for the book this time. Dean throws the hand with the book above his head and uses the other to try and push Benny away in his attempt at the book. "No. Stop. Leave me-"
They tumble off onto the shag carpeted floor. Ignoring the change in location, they continue by rolling to see who comes out on top. Dean somehow pins Benny down with one hand to the Cajun's chest, book in the air. "Ha! Getting a bit rusty old man."
Benny pulls the green eyed man down by the shoulders to latch their lips together. It's rough at first but grows more passionate once Dean relaxes into it. Dean's lost in the kiss when Benny grabs the book. An instant later Benny's grinning down at Dean, book in hand.
"Forget the book", he drawls and tosses it to the side. No book could be as interesting as Dean is when he's under Benny.
