Azure eyes trailed upward, pausing at the prone form of the full moon. That's two nights in a row, Kagome observed.
During these nights, she found herself awake, dreaming of the modern life. Where homework and boys were her worries and college was a goal to reach. Where a job was required, books and music a hobby and love her only battlefield.
It was only on nights like this did she realize that her fantasy was a common reality while her reality was a fantasy. However, in her heart, she knew she would not change anything. She loved this reality.
