I do not own Inuyasha or its characters. Rumiko Takahashi does. I make no profit from the writing of these fics, nor do I ever intend to. I merely write for the pleasure it brings me, and for the wonderful responses my readers generously submit.
Lemon(ish) Warning...
Moon-Spun Silver
A warm summer breeze brushes over them, stirring the blades of grass they lay surrounded in, cooling their overheated skin in a touchless caress.
Crickets sing in the darkness, a symphony of quiet tranquility that circles the forest, surrounding the lovers in their midst. A wolf howls in the distance, a beautiful lilting melody that is answered in kind, first by one, then another of its pack; calls beckon to and fro, a haunting chorus that goes unnoticed by the pair making love on the forest floor.
Moon-spun silver mingles with blue-black silk in the darkness. Soft sighs echo in the night as his touch ghosts over her pale, silky skin. Razor sharp claws trace the swell of her breast with careful precision. His palms close over them, testing their weight as his thumbs trace a gentle line over her nipples.
She arches against him, abandons propriety and modesty as she folds her arms around him to pull him closer. The beauty of her gaze is nearly hidden; her eyes are half closed in desire. Her lips tease his, tasting him as they move together. Their quiet words of love are laced in a passion that shimmers around them in the clearing.
Words have little importance tonight. He holds her close, takes in her scent as she deepens their kiss. He watches with sunlit fascination; she moves beneath him, graceful and stunning in her shameless abandon. She begs, husky and wanton, and he complies, willfully, urgently, filling her gently as he pulls her closer still.
They move together, beginning and ending as one, because in this, they are whole. She is his, and he is hers; one body and one soul.
And in the silence of the clearing, where words are mostly unnecessary, one thing is spoken in unison, shared quietly between them as their union comes to its breathtaking conclusion:
'I love you.'
A/N:
I am nearly done with the editing of a oneshot I've been working on for months now.
It is a continuation of a drabble I wrote and posted eons ago.
I was planning to post it tonight, but as I am overly critical of my writing,
I just don't feel it is ready. I aim to do better, darn it! I am hoping to post it soon, but I want it
to be just right, you know?
I am still struggling with health issues, and the severe pain it causes, which is the primary cause
behind my slow updates. I've been unable thus far in finding an acceptable balance to it all.
My ultimate goal is to post at least a few times per month, lol, and hopefully, eventually,
I will get what I want.
HUGS
Neisha
