A/N: I'm churning out these little ficlets at an alarming rate, no? Firstly, I'd like to thank everyone who reviewed my first fic, Shattered. It means a lot to me that people read it an enjoyed it. Secondly, I'm using these short stories as a way to get my characterization down-pat. I've read so many fics on here, and I've seen so many characters with different personalities and what-not, so I'm just trying to get the HSM characters out as I see them. This way, when I start on my first series or super-long fic, it'll be easier on me. Lastly, don't expect any Troyella fics out of me just yet, I'm not to fond of our dear Gabby and won't be held responsible for my actions if I get my hands on her. Well, anyway, enough on my ramblings. Enjoy!

Disclaimer: I don't own HSM (I wish I did though…) I'm poor, so don't sue me, okay?

She walked alone through the bustling halls of East High. She could hear the whispers all around her, though she pretended not to. She hung her head and continued walking until she heard footsteps beside her fall in time with her own.

"You shouldn't be walking near me, especially where everyone can see you." She said in her usual soft tone. The one beside her grinned.

"But I want to walk with you." The person wrapped one long arm around her shoulder. "Is that a problem?" She turned scarlet.

"No, it's not a problem, it's just that people will start to talk. They'll think you're some kind of a freak…like me." The other person shrugged lightly.

"Does it look like I care what other people think? Kelsi, you really need to stop worrying about what other people will think. It's going to ruin your life." The boy said as he slightly tightened his grip on Kelsi.

"Jason," Kelsi said, "You have it so easy. Look at you, you're popular. I'm not. Everyone just thinks I'm a weird loser."

Jason grinned wider. "Would they think I was a loser if I did this?" Kelsi looked up, confused.

"Do what, Ja-?" Kelsi's eyes widened as Jason's lips smashed against her own.

"That." Jason smiled and gave Kelsi a side-hug before letting her go and walking casually into his classroom.

Kelsi stood there for a moment, stunned, then broke into the biggest smile of her life.

So what if everyone was looking at her and the classroom that Jason just went into with shocked face. They could look at her like she grew a second head, and in that moment, she wouldn't care one bit. She was on cloud nine.

Grinning, Kelsi quickly disappeared into the same classroom. Life was definitely looking a bit brighter

A/N: I think Jason and Kelsi are adorable together, don't you? Thank you so much for reading. Please leave a review if you feel inclined to do so. You can even tell me I suck!
