"The Ministry is going down, they're being stupid. I don't understand, Albus. Why can't they just let the boy go? He didn't do anything." Remus sighed to Dumbledore. Dumbledore responded, sounding as if he answered this one before.

"The Ministry isn't on our side anymore, Remus. They're looking for any excuse to lock up Harry. It would fit in so well with everything."

"But- Harry has so much pressure on him! At school, everyone thinks he's crazy, except for a handful of students!" Remus spluttered.

"And at school everyone thinks I am a crackpot old fool. Yet I stay there. The Ministry will ignore Lord Voldemort's return for as long as they like. Once they see the errors of their ways we will give them protection." Remus stood up in anger.

"And why should we give it to them? They're making live terrible for everyone! Muggles and wizards alike. They need to do something. They need to do something about Voldemorts return or he'll take over! First the Ministry then perhaps the world! It doesn't matter that Voldemort hasn't come out into the open, because he will! He'll come out eventually." Dumbledore let Remus ramble, and ramble before speaking.

"But right now Remus, my old friend, we can only wait. Wait for Voldemort to come out, wait for the Ministry to see the light." Remus banged his fist on the table in anger.

"Waiting? Waiting? And what if they never admit it? What if they admit it when half the Wizarding World is gone? That's too late. They need to see it now!"

"Remus!" Dumbledore exclaimed, holding up a hand. "If we push them, they'll go against us even more. We have to wait. We have to wait for the better."
