Hi everyone, sorry for the long hiatus. There was a ton of dreams at my school, they almost took away art class, the gym teacher has great surgery, and I'm taking an advanced math class, so I'm gonna start with a one shot that I thought of yesterday. Enjoy. It's in Fang's POV.
Disclaimer: I don't own Maximum Ride, that credit goes to James Patterson.
So, I'm walking down the streets of San Francisco with the gang, when Ratchet spots an envelope with my name on it a few blocks away. Star runs over and grabs it for me. I unfold it and see Max's handwriting. I steel myself and start to read.
Dear Fang,
You said we're a team. One of us struggles, we all struggle. One of us triumphs, we all triumph. Why did you have to leave me? Leave us? We missed you, and you joined up with my clone? She tried to kill me! You're acting like the whitecoats, trying to replace me with Max 2.0. Dylan has been trying to get with me since you left, and I've refused him every time because I love you. I'm in this city, waiting for you at the Hollywood sign. Please, I need to see you.
Love, Max
I fold up the letter, turn my head to the Hollywood sign, and take off. When I get there,I see her, during on top of the H. "Max," I breathe.
She turns around, and gaps.
"Fang," says, before laughing.
I run towards her and wrap my arms around her.
"Of, Max," I gap, "I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry."
"Fang, it's fine," she says pulling back and smiling at me.
I grab her face in my hands and pull her lips to mine. She wraps her arms around my neck and kisses me back happily.
Hey guys, sit if it is short, but I write all my stories on my kindle, so they look longer than they actually are, and I prefer writing shorter chapters. Have a great day.
