Castiel sat on a couch, awaiting Dean's reply. He had just asked if he wanted to go out. Mainly just to talk about things. He knew that this meet up was supposed to be someting much more, but Castiel got nervous and brought work up. His phone started ringing. It was Dean. Castiel was contemplating whether or not to pick up the phone. This date idea was stupid anyway... But something inside of him made him pick up the phone and talk to Dean.

"H-Hello?"

"Hey Cas. Uh, do you mind if Sam comes? I kinda want to keep an eye on him. I-I don't really want to explain why... You understand though. Right Cas?"

"Uh-Uh yeah, of course. I understand he has messed up on multiple-"

Dean cut him off and exclaimed, "Cas it has nothing to do with that."

Castiel got nervous and wondered if he could ever redeem himself.

"I-I'm so sorry... I thought... I'm so sorry..."

"No, it's okay, I overreacted. Are you ready to go? I'll pick you up. Are you still at the store?

"Uh... Yes, I am. Thank you, again, sorry about Sam."

"Alight, we are leaving now, just be ready."

Castiel hung up, blushing just thinking about their date.

Dean was confused as to why Cas wanted to meet up and talk about hunting. Maybe he was being monitored and they threatened Cas to bring him over. If that were the case, he was glad he decided to make Sammy tag along.

"Sammy, we are going out, come on."

"Why? I am kind of busy-"

"Because we are trying to help a friend Sam. Now stop being an ass and come on."

"Fine... Jerk..." Sam whispered to where Dean couldn't hear him.

As Dean got in the car, he prepared himself for war. Carrying his trusty gun, they packed salt and silver knifes and bullets, not knowing what they were dealing with.

"Dean, have you ever thought that maybe Cas just wants to... I don't know... talk? Not about work... You know, just as friends?"

"Come on Sam, Cas is an angel. They are all just serious sons of bitches."

"Dean... He isn't an angel anymore..."

Dean stared at Sam angrily, knowing that there was still an angel somewhere deep down in Cas. To Sam, it was pretty obvious that Cas wanted him alone so they could just talk, but Dean was too worried about Cas to notice. Sam found it quite comical.
