Some remember His powers,
some remember His provisions,
some come to Him when they need Him only,
but feel remember His weakness.

Some remember He is the Alpha and the Omega,
some remember He will one day judge this world,
some long for Him to be the King of kings,
but few love those who persecute Him.

The crowns of glory He casts away,
the angels that praise Him He departs from,
the throne He rejects for thirty three years,
to walk in the mud of His persecutors.

The power to send fire down He never uses,
the justice over injustice He puts aside,
He allows Himself to be spit, mocked and crucified,
for He loves His persecutors.

Note: The greatest pain in the heart of God is not the nails that pierce his hands and feet, but the death of a wicked. His greatest tears, His greatest pains is the death of the sinners. Today, in church, we want so much for God's glory to return, we want so much for Him to be the King of Kings. This is good. However, we must never forget why He comes down to this earth in the first place. In our obsession and desire to make Him King, we must never forget that He puts aside being His throne, His kingship, His glories for 33 years to seek and save the lost, the sinners. The undeserving. The wicked. Those who hate Him.
