"-you son of a bitch!" Severus shouted to Sirius Black.
"On that, Snape, I certainly agree," Sirius sneered back.
Severus just stared at him in confusion.
"My mother is a bitch. She even admitted it herself."
Severus knew he would regret asking, but he asked anyway. "Huh?"
"Do you know what my full name is?"
"No…" Severus said cautiously.
"Sirius Orion Black. My initials are SOB!" He grinned.
"Seriously, Remus," asked James. "What were your parents thinking, naming you Remus when you had a last name of Lupin. It's like they were asking for you to get bitten by a werewolf!"
Remus didn't have a reply. He'd wondered the same thing himself, many times.
Septima Vector, Professor of Arithmancy at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, sighed. She had almost made it the whole class period of her first class with the third years without the inevitable question being asked. Almost.
