This is a piece centered on Mia, Slade, and Derrick (he'll come later.) Terra is a member of the titans in this so... whatever. This is a broken piece it'll make more scene in the next chapter.

Disclaimer: I don't own the teen titans.

Dedication: To my love of romantic betrayal and Valentines Day, enjoy.

A great darkness as covering the interior of the tower and all of its rooms, it was a usual darkness for it was twelve midnight. A girl with black hair, tips dipped in lilac die to cover the first 3 inches of her hair that flew behind her as her black wings glided threw the tower's halls. The purple gem in her thin silver crown was blinking as she soars down the halls.

"What's wrong?" the girl yells as the doors to the main room of her team's tower open. She shakes her hands, they develop a glow of dark purple, giving off more light then you would guess.

A bullet/syringe, hits the black haired girl in the right side of her neck. She rips it out and studies it. It was a gold color and fizzed. She gasps and falls to her knees and hands. Light floods the room. A dozen robot henchmen are in a half circle, surrounding the doorway only giving a path for a man in a mask to walk and loom over the fallen girl.

"What's wrong, Minuet? Can't you take it?" he says as he walks towards the gasping royal. She looks up to him, eyes a mix of pain and pure hatred.

"What........ is........... it...............?" She says between gasps. He lets out an evil cackle that would makes the hairs on anyone's neck stand on end. A drone walks over picks Mia's arms up, making her fall to floor and binds her wrists together with handcuffs of metal resembling a mix of silver and copper.

"Don't bother trying to phase out of them, it Tigarion iron, the one thing your powers are useless against. The poison is a mixture of nightshade flowers and sunstar sap. It'll make you will go unconscious in a few seconds" He says with a drawl as her eyes slowly flicker shut. "Take her to the lair" he says as he and his drones exit the tower.
