Title: Hisses and smiles
Author: Ellie
Rating: G, it's not even half a page, how much bad stuff can I put in that?
Pairing: well, none really, but it's got Kaidoh and Inui, so make of it what you will.
Disclaimer: run.
Sum: just generalized dicking around with characters, and homework was making my mind bleed.

Thump. Hit. Run.
The ball's motions were his heart beat. He no longer had to think about where he would go, some deep part of his mind knew where he had to hit it and where he would need to go next. Feet connected to legs, legs connected to thighs, thighs connected to body. All moved in synch. Sinews and muscles moved of their own accord and rational thought shut down. His whole had two parts: one arm and a pair of legs.
Thump. Hit. Run.
With every step his mind recalculated where he should go. A constant stream of numbers filled one side; while the other sifted through various facts stored within. He twisted and shifted his body in all the predetermined motions while letting his voice output various directions to his partner.
Thump.
It finally stopped. The ball was collected and the two boys stood in their places panting, brains reeling from the lack of input. The game was over and won. After gradually slipping out of their match mindsets, they looked around at the other team and then to the scoreboard. One boy hissed; the other smiled.
"Game and match, Inui-Kaidoh pair," said the little man on the stool, and cheers erupted around them.
