Summary:
Regene fucks with the shit of various people. Written for an app at
an RP, but I just used that as an excuse. 8D
Ribbons suspected nothing. The thought filled him with a sick sort of glee, to be able to one-up his so-called "creator" after being awake for barely two weeks. There was no way for him to have suspected, of course-- none of the other pairs had the distinction of being separated by their twin upon their awakening, to suddenly know as the world slowly went from a blurred mass to crystal clear, that he was not alone, and that his other was not one of Ribbon's pets.
Their brainwaves had synched up, ever so briefly, upon Regene's activation. Tieria, floating in space, desperately trying to embrace death, had been snapped back into conciousness at the connection, though he hadn't even noticed Regene's presence.
But Regene knew. In that instance, he knew Tieria, maybe better than anyone else ever had-- certainly, more than anyone else ever would, now that that troublesome sniper of his was dead.
And Ribbons, so sure he knew everything, controlled everything, hadn't suspected a thing.
It hadn't taken him long, to decide to "help" Tieria (and thus, Celestial Being) out of his depression. He'd toyed with the idea of visiting himself-- Ribbons certainly suspected nothing, and Regene made frequent trips amongst the humans to better understand their ways. He'd been the one who found that Krugis man for Ribbons to heal and make into their pet; Ribbons would never protest if he went out without explanation.
But, no. Tieria wouldn't care about Regene, didn't even know about the rest of the Innovators, the poor thing. That revelation wouldn't help motivate him at all-- as things were, it might just break whatever spirit he had left.
The key was in that human Tieria had become so attached to-- that Lockon Stratos. He was the root of Tieria's depression, and the only thing-- person, he supposed-- that would be able to get Tieria out of it.
He'd been meaning to test the effect their connection could have on Tieria. Would his brother just hear "Lockon"'s voice, or would his mind create an image, as well? An image would be best-- he'd learned much about the human need to see things with their own eyes, and Tieria had become dreadfully human during his stay with them.
Regene's eyes began to glow, reaching out to Tieria through their bond, undectable to Ribbons, to anyone else.
A satisfied smirk traced its way over his lips as the echo of Tieria's voice stuttered out the dead Meister's name. Visibility was almost too easy.
But then again-- to Regene, everything was easy.
A/N: Yes, I'm saying that Regene is the reason Tieria hallucinates Lockon. I'm mean. But I like this idea more than Tieria just being an insane person.
Also, no beta, so point out any mistakes you see.
