"Kairi!" called a young girl, running to her friend. She had above shoulder-length sable hair that swished and waved in the breeze as she caught up and tried to catch her breath. By the sea another girl stood in her school uniform watching the sunset. Or most likely it was the far off island in the distance.
Endless waves in the ocean that reminded you of his eyes.
Endless hollow breezes in the wind that stood out like a whisper.
Kairi turned slowly to her companion. "Anjel, hi." her voice was low, and Anjel knew the answer to her question before she could ask. Her mouth closed and her dark chocolate eyes faltered. How long has it been? How long has it been since that day? He left without a word. Disappeared into thin air and from everybody's minds as if he never existed.
Endless days that meant nothing without him.
Endless wondering if he is really out there.
No other words were said. None had to. The water smoothed in and out of the shore in a repeating manner. The wind played with the ends of Anjel's hair strands, tickling her face. She stared out in deep thought. After a few moments her hand unconsciously let down her bag to the sand and crouched to the water line. Inside the bag her hand smoothed over an object and brought it out. Kairi eyes flicked to Anjel "What's that?" It was a glass polished bottle that held a scroll inside. Anjel smiled faintly at it as if it was the most precious thing she has ever seen.
Endless written letters that never made it to him.
Endless conversations with one's self telling them today is the day.
"It's a letter. I wrote it the other day to the boy." she replied. She carefully placed it in the water letting the waves carry it off. Standing straight the bottle was drifting farther and farther into the distance until it vanished completely. Kairi spoke "I hope he gets it." Anjel nodded "He will. I just know it." The sun was almost gone. The day was almost over. Kairi silently strone away. After her footsteps went away it was silent. Just Anjel. Normally she doesn't like to be alone, but right now she didn't feel like she was. She sighed. The memories were killing her. Was the boy real? No. He had to be. Ever since people started saying he never existed Anjel started to become doubtful. But thats when she had to mentally slap herself for thinking of such a stupid thing. It was weird. It really was, how everyone forgot him so easily and all at the same time. They couldn't think of name or even a face. They felt so bad. But like Anjel had said to herself sometimes their words get to her easily. Because their the only words that consist of him.
Endless tears for someone who may not exist.
Endless dreams of not knowing between reality and fantasy.
She shook her head laughing heartedly. She slung her bag under her arm turning for a second before stepping back to face the sea. "I'll be back tomorrow. I hope you'll answer back." She walked off finding her way home as a single tear escaped her eye. "Goodbye, Sora."
Endless hope for him to come back home.
Endless love for him to keep waiting...
