Her breath timidly spurted from her lips in short, silent gasps; the room was far too cold, in her opinion, and she fidgeted slightly, as if to will her socks to spring to life and snake up her gooseflesh flecked legs. Of course, the hair did not stand at attention merely for the cold, but also partially because she commanded it, holding her from behind like this.

Intoxicating, she thought through the gooey haze enveloping her brain, I can smell her. And it's delicious. She had been allowed to taste earlier too, now that they had reached this stage in their lives, though despite it being sweeter than she'd ever thought possible, she was far more pleased by the enthusiastic response her curious inspection elicited. The memory of her thrashing about and squealing, not unlike a fish imp, replayed with perfect clarity in her mind, and without realizing it, she grinned.

"In that much of a hurry?" she asked coyly and giggled.

"Not at all," she replied dreamily, vainly attempting to focus on the dark, shifting shapes before her eyes. Despite her objections, she had insisted it would be better this way.

All the same, she wished she could have a clearer view of her lover in the final moments of her life.

But ah, c'est la vie.

"Come now," she scolded, breaking the magic embrace and instead clasping hands, "we've put it off too long already." Yes, indeed. They were nearing two decades of life rather quickly, and she knew that she could not bear, of all things, that.

She drew a deep breath this time.

Eleanor gingerly probed Diana's lifeless leg with her finger. Freezing. No wonder, choosing this horrid little spot of the ship for the deed. Shaking her head, she next turned to Meg's body, still slightly swaying on the end of its tether. Of course she'd follow the Proud Leader.

Sighing, Eleanor turned to leave the room. Neither of them would fit in the bird cage. How disappointing.

There needs to be a fandom for this game. I'm being brave and taking a first step here, and I'd appreciate if other like-minded, skilled writers followed.

Also, what happened to the "misc. video games" category? Rule of Rose is not exactly an RPG (it's survival horror) so I feel like it's a bit out of place here, but there's nowhere else for it to go.

And, as always, let me know what you think.
