ALBUS'S DISCOVERY

One fine summer day, Albus Severus Potter was strolling around Hogwarts grounds, enjoying his free time. Maybe he would visit Hagrid. At least he got away from James for a bit.

The sun was beating down, and Albus broke out into a sweat. He sat down against a tree on the edge of the forbidden forest to recover, it was so hot.

Suddenly, Albus remembered a conversation he had had with his father, Harry. Something about a resurrection stone:

'Why did you throw away the stone, dad?'

'I didn't, Albus. I dropped it on the edge of The Forbidden Forest. I didn't need it, anyway.'

Maybe… the stone could be here! Albus got to his feet and started looking for a stone with strange markings on it. After five minutes, he found one. It was perfectly round, markings scratched inside it, pulsing blue. Albus wanted to see his Grandfather and Mother for once. He turned the stone three times over in his hand.

BOOF. Two figures appeared, one with red hair cascading down her back, and Albus's jade eyes, and the other with Albus's black hair that stuck up the back. James and Lily Potter. Albus smiled.

'Hello, Albus,' said James.

'H-hi,' said Albus.

Suddenly, Albus's brother James came running into view, panting.

'Why are you staring at nothing, Al?' he demanded.

'No reason.' He put the stone in his pocket and the three figures disappeared.

'C'mon. Let's go to Hagrid's.'

'Yeah.'

The two wizards set off towards the familiar wooden cabin.
