Bitt's Vision of Ranma's Wedding Day
By B.I.T.T. (short for Behind In The Times)

Ranma could hardly believe it. His wedding day had finally come. After all of the arguments, the fights, the pretending to hate each other, all of that was over. Now finally they could be honest with each other. Sure it wouldn't be a picnic, no marriage ever was, but they had love. What's more it was a love they had fought for, tooth and nail. Fought against other such as Shampoo, Tatewake Kuno, and Kodachi Kuno, and against themselves as well.
Ranma glanced over to those watching. The ones who had come to support them and the ones who had come to finally give up hope on both Ranma and Akane seated side by side. Some were crying, some were smiling, and some were sleeping, but all of them had come to two agreements; one to not ruin this day themselves, and two to use their combined powers to prevent anything from happening. Ranma couldn't help but feel a combination of pity, gratefulness, and pride when he looked at them.
There was a sudden still silence and then a murmur from the crowd. The air had suddenly gotten very tense; Ranma looked around and wondered what had happened.
"Ahem", the preacher said "I'll repeat the question. Do you Ranma Saotome take Akane Tendo to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, for better and for worse, for as long as you both shall live?" Ranma almost smacked himself on the head. He'd been so lost in is revelry that he'd forgotten about the ceremony. Akane's face took a very familiar ferocious look as she started to mutter something. Ranma smiled sheepishly at her and her face gradually relaxed, it seemed that she understood, or at least gave him the benefit of the doubt this time. With the realization of how far they'd come, Ranma spoke.
"Of course I do." He said and smiled again at Akane.
".And do you Akane Tendo, take Ranma to be your lawfully wedded husband, and occasionally wedded wife, to have and to hold, in sickness and in health, for richer and for poorer, for better and for worse, for as long as you both shall live?" the priest asked Akane.
"I Do," she said
"The rings please." Ryoga handed Ranma both rings. It was strange to think about Ryoga as Ranma's best man, but his choices were limited. Who else could he have gotten? Kuno.not likely, he was never a friend of Ranma's and besides was still too emotionally unbalanced since finding out the truth about the "Pig-Tailed Girl", Happosai wasn't even an option and his father ended up in panda form so often that he'd most likely rip up a very expensive rented tux. Besides, Ranma and Ryoga and formed an odd friendship over the years. Ryoga was indeed the closest thing Ranma would ever likely get to having a friend.
Ranma again snapped out of his thoughts and smiled as he handed his ring to Akane and waited for his cue from the priest. He looked at Ranma and Akane and smiled.
"Then take each other's hand and repeat after me; with this ring, I thee wed."
"With this ring, I thee wed." Ranma said placing the ring on Akane's finger.
"With this ring, I thee wed." Akane said placing the ring on Ranma's finger. The priest breathed a deep breath, and a small bead of sweat fell across his forehead, he'd been briefed about this crowd and thus he knew what to expect. He let out his breath and took another, deeper breath and said;

"Iftherebeanyoneamongyouwhofeelthatthesetwoshouldnotbejoinedletthatpersonspe aknoworforeverholdhisorherpeacegoingoncegoingtwicegone." The holy man pause for breath and looked again at Ranma and Akane.

"Then by the power infested in me I hereby pronounce you man and wife, you may kiss the bride." Ranma moved the thin veil and looked deeply into Akane's eyes, and Akane looked deeply into Ranma's, and as they kissed a comet struck the church and killed everybody..especially Ranma.
