"Amiboshi?" he peeked his head past the door and looked at the mound of blankets on the bed. He faintly saw it move up and down so he knew his brother was there.
"Amiboshi?" he tried again. This time the blankets came all the way down, revealing a disheveled and tired looking Amiboshi. He yawned hugely before rubbing his eyes.
"What is it Suboshi?" Just then a bolt of lightning lit the sky and thunder boomed loudly, making Suboshi jump.
"Can I stay in here?"
Amiboshi blinked. "Of course you can. I know your scared of storms."
Suboshi beamed at his brother before jumping into the bed. Amiboshi laughed at Suboshi's childishness. He ruffled his twin's hair before laying back down.
When Suboshi cuddled up close to his chest he pulled the covers over the both of them. As another big racket of thunder rolled along in the sky, Suboshi clutched at him tighter.
"It's ok, 'Boshi." Amiboshi said tiredly. His younger brother relaxed and after a few minutes, Amiboshi heard the even breaths of his brother, telling him that he was asleep.
He let himself admire his sleeping twin and smiled lightly as the thought of Suboshi being scared of Thunderstorms. He brushed the hair away from the closed eyes and his faint smile faded completely from his face.
The older twin leaned down and kissed Suboshi's petal soft lips. The lips under his moved lightly. Amiboshi slowly pulled back and laid down again, pulling his twin closer to him and laying his head on top of his brother's.
As he closed his eyes, his last thoughts before drifting into sleep were of his Suboshi. And how Thunderstorms brought him into his room.
