A/N: Yes, I know I should be updating my other story, "That's what I thought" but I thought of this first. I got inspiration for this from my actual first driving lesson. :) Now, on to the story!

She woke up and leaped out of bed, excited.

"Mom! Mom! I'm driving today!"

Sonny was wide awake. She wouldn't go back to sleep now, even if it was six in the morning. She was tired...but she was excited.

"Yes, honey, I know. Now, let me sleep a little bit longer and then I'll be fine, ok?" (Anyone catch my song reference? ;) )

"Ok, mom." Sonny tip-toed out of the room quietly, and went back into her room. She read a book, and slowly her eyes closed...

...and the next thing she knew her mom was shaking her awake.

"C'mon, Sonny, you're going to be late for your driving lesson." Connie said, and Sonny instantly got ready.

"Ok, let's go." Sonny said, with the hugest smile on her face. Connie smiled back. Sonny's excitement was rubbing off on her.

Connie drove her to the DMV, and she walked up to the driving instructor she had previously talked to on the phone. The driving instructor was a lady in her mid-sixties, who had blond hair and wore a pair of black dress pants and a green blouse. Her flats clomped on the tile as she walked over to them.

"Oh, hello. Nice to meet you, Connie." said the instructor, shook Connie's hand, and then looked over at Sonny.

"And you must be Sonny, are you excited about driving?" she asked. Sonny nodded enthusiastically.

"Yep." she said.

"Ok well that's good." The instructor answered, "Let's get started, shall we?"

Sonny smiled, and all three of them went over to a counter. The instructor filled out some forms, Connie signed a slip of paper, and Sonny filled out another form, and signed her signature.

"Ok, now all we have to do is the eye test." She said, and Sonny put her eyes on what looked like a huge pair of binoculars.

When she pressed against it, a list of numbers and colors came up on the screen.

"Ok, what does line 2 say, from left to right?" she asked.

"Uh, C, H, A, D," she paused. Is this some kind of joke? She continued. "L, G, N, M."

"Very good, now tell me what are the order of colors in line C?" she asked.

"Yellow, Red, Green, Green." Sonny answered.

"Correct, that's all there is to it. Now, let's start learning." The instructor said.

Sonny smiled, and kissed her mom good bye.

"Bye mom."

"Bye sweetie. Be careful." Connie said, and drove away. She got to the car, and noticed it was the same color as a certain three-named blond's eyes. She shook her head. This had to be some sort of joke.

She got into the car, and started the engine.

"Alright, now adjust your mirrors so that the back door handle is on the right bottom corner of the mirror."

"Uh, ok, got it." Sonny said.

"Ok, now adjust this mirror so your view adjusts to the level of the back window."

"Ok, got it." Sonny said.

"Alright, now, press the brake, and put it into reverse...ok, good, now..." The instructor continued to teach her all about driving for the next hour and a half, and eventually they ended back at the DMV.

"So, what's your name?" Sonny asked awkwardly.

"My name is Marie, Marie Anne Cooper." Marie said, and Sonny's eyes widened. Her driving instructor was-"I'm Chad's grandmother, and he talks about you a lot. He talks about you everytime he calls." Mrs. Cooper smiled, and Sonny smiled back, an idea forming in her head.

"He does, does he?" Sonny asked. There was only one word in her mind after that: Blackmail.
