Observe and wait.

Those were his only orders from the CEO of LDS.

He and his brother had kept watch on the female Fusion duelist ever since the beginning of the Battle Royal, not really expecting for anything troubling to show its face. If only he could go back in time to slap himself for ever thinking that.

While tailing the Fusion user, both Tsukikage and Hikage found themselves witnessing the end of a duel between You Show Duel School's Hiiragi Yuzu and LDS Broadway Branch's Dennis Macfield in the Volcanic Action Field.

"He's pretty good, don't you think Tsuki?" his brother asked, lazily stretching his arms behind his head. So far, their person of interest had just been watching the duel, so they were both just hanging out on the top of a cliff.

"Sure." Tsukikage's attention, however, was directed at the pink-haired duelist whom was speaking with the American now. For reasons he didn't quite understand, he wished that they would just part ways already. Earlier, his brother had to physically hold him back from jumping down to save her from falling into the lava below.

He realized that Hikage had been jabbing at his side for a while now to get his attention and he directed his gaze back at the Fusion girl. She was challenging Dennis now, daring to use his Xyz monsters, and Yuzu staring at her like she had seen a ghost.

How peculiar.

"What should we do, Tsuki?" Hikage asked, lowering himself to crawl closer to the edge of the cliff. "Should we interrupt?"

A bead of sweat traveled down his neck, leaving a ticklish sensation in its wake. He tugged at his cloth mask, unraveling the knot and bringing it down to his neck so he could wipe it off. After retying and readjusting it, he said, "Not yet. Contact the Youth Division and give them our location. Wait until we receive new orders."

In reality, he really wanted to go down there and stop the duel. Reiji Akaba had not been too detailed as to why they had to shadow the fusion user, but from the CEO's tone, he knew that it would be dangerous.

Observe and wait.

Wait for what exactly? Surely one girl shouldn't be this much trouble.

And then he found that he had thought that too soon. While Dennis had been making a play, shadows moved over them, distracting Dennis enough to not activate his set card and costing him to lose the duel. Yuzu Hiiragi watched, horrified as the figures behind the Fusion user stepped into view.

Masked men wearing uniforms and sneering at the two girls advanced forward menacingly, activating their duel disks.

Next to him, Hikage sprang into action. "Retrieve them and leave. Those are orders from Reiji-sama." Tsukikage followed, fishing inside a pocket to pull out a small pellet. With practiced aim, he threw it in front of the men and smoked instantly began to fill the air. Both ninjas jumped right into it and went straight for the girls.

Hikage picked up Fusion-girl, much to her anger, as she immediately started to try and pry herself lose, leaving Tsukikage to pick up Yuzu.

She couldn't see him, and it felt like he was doing something very wrong when he scooped her up in his arms.

"So sorry, Hiiragi-san." He muttered, and leaped up the bridge's railing to make their escape. His brother followed close behind him, leaving the Youth division to deal with the masked men.
