He was alone in a dark room with no one but himself for company. The cold of the room made him shiver with goosebumps all over wondering how a place could be colder than the middle of leafbare, but he would not let these feelings overwhelm his true purpose being here. To find a way to destroy that mangy kittypet.
His eyes wondered around the surrounds of the room scanning for any obvious clues on what to do next. How would he contact the living? How would build an army? How would he manipulate every cat in this forest? He had spent what seemed like hours staring now at this room and wondered if this is what they meant when they said all Dark Forest cats were alone forever? If it was then it was a pitiful attempt as he would find a way to escape it.
He was in a bigger room before but alas the forest had somehow put him in this room after he attempted to contact another cat in this forest. It seemed the forest was alive somehow and it knew what the cats here had done and had ways to make them suffer in eternity. His eyes landed on a curious vine he had just seen. It was dying but kept on growing and twisting around all in its reach.
The vine was like him.
He was dead killed by Scourge as it ripped all of his lives out from him in one fell swoop, it was the worst outcome that could have possibly happened that day and still it haunts his mind never letting him forget how close he was to all that power. Death did not stop him though as he now is here feeling younger than ever and he is ready to destroy the forest entangling and manipulating all of the cats in the forests to his will.
He decided for some reason even unknown to himself to start climbing the vine. The vine kept growing, he kept climbing and for a while they were in sync to each other, neither one changing pace just in a constant rhythm. He started to feel warmer as he climbed up the vine, nothing noticeably different at first but after a while it was like he was actually escaping from the room.
To confirm these suspicions he started to see some snow coloured image appear on the horizon but it couldn't be snow it is too warm and even down in the room as cold as it was there was no snow! Only dead grass and black walls around him. It must be the light of the real forest; he was actually escaping that damned room.
The light approached and he speeded up to reach it! But for some reason he started to feel colder again? He dismissed it as his mine playing tricks on him, he was actually escaping this room and there was nothing anybody could do to stop it. No one! The forest would soon be his for the taking, he would destroy them all.
He reached up for the light as he found a grip on a ledge and pulled himself up, he had finally escaped! He looked around and he suddenly fell to the ground. He had not escaped he had only wasted his energy on climbing back up to the room. He saw the vine he had just climbed over in the same place he first laid eyes on it, dying and yet growing.
No matter, he would find a way out of here. He would kill that damned kittypet.
