Artimas' Moon shone over the Manhattan skyline one autumn night. Yet, through all that bustling in the New York streets, someone screaming in the middle of the night could be heard from an apartment complex. Sally Blofis bolted out of bed and sprinted, baby bump bouncing, to her son's room. However, as soon as her hand touched the doorknob, the screams stopped. She opened the door hesitantly, and peeked inside. What she saw, terrified and worried her more than anything had ever before. There was her seventeen year old, sobbing on his bed. Her brave little boy, reduced to a puddle. She walked over and sat next to the black haired boy on his bed, pulling him into a hug and gently combing her fingers through his hair. "You're safe now, Percy. You're safe."

"Where's... Annabeth?" He choked through the sobs.

"She's at Camp. Just like she always is." His mother said softly.

"I... need to know... she's safe."

Sally nodded slowly and went to the bathroom, turning on the shower and turning it to the "mist" setting. Percy wiped his green eyes and walked in, mumbling the incantation and throwing a drachma "Oh Iris, goddess of the rainbow, show me Annabeth Chase at Camp Halfblood." Slowly, the image of his girlfriend, asleep in her cabin came into focus. The light from the Iris Message woke her slowly and she murmured sleepily "Percy? What's wrong?" She sat up, making sure to keep her voice quiet.

"Just... just had a nightmare. Nothing too bad, just needed to make sure."

Sally frowned at her son. "Nothing too bad? Percy you woke the entire complex." Normally she wouldn't be this harsh, but hey, she was pregnant. Her eyes filled with tears. "What's going on Percy?"

Annabeth frowned at her boyfriend. "You didn't tell her?"

Percy tilted his head, giving the blonde a 'seriously?' look. "Come on, Wise Girl."

"Percy, tell me now." Sally prompted. Anger replacing her tears. Fear settled deep in her stomach. Knowing that he was keeping something that would both scare and worry her.

Annabeth sighed. "We're not there anymore, Percy. I'm going back to sleep, I'll see you tom-" she looked at her clock "later today. Night, Seaweed Brain." her eyes softened and she disconnected the IM.

"Percy. What did she mean by 'we aren't there anymore'?"

"Mom, there are some things you don't need to hear." the son of Poseidon kissed his mother's forehead. "Go back to sleep, mom. I'll tell you someday. Just not tonight...It's still too soon."

Sally nodded slowly, knowing she shouldn't push it any further. As soon as he heard her bedroom door close, he looked out the window and up where he knew the stars were. "Bob says 'hello'." He folded the blankets over his body again and braced himself for another night with no sleep.

And that ends it for one of six of my angst projects (What? I never said they'd just be Miraculous LB and CN and Fairy Tail!) . I wanted to see how Sally would react to Percy having a nightmare. Annabeth may have been a bit harsh, but seeing as I was nicknamed after her... I needed to impose some of my half-asleep tendencies into the story. Favorite, Follow, Review. I especially would love to hear your guys' thoughts on how I did and what you think about it all. Until next time!
