Expecting

I'm bored so I wrote this. Rated T for implied sex.

Disney owns Disneyworld, which I am going to this summer. They also own Frozen, which I have written this story about.

Kristoff hates living in the castle.

He hates how boring it is. Nothing ever happens. Ever. Everyone just sits around all day, and expects Kristoff to do the same. They expect him to read. He doesn't really know how. They expect him to be able to play Prelude and Fugue in C on the piano flawlessly. He just strums around on the lute once in a while. He hates how they have expectations of him as he transitions from ice mountain troll guy to Prince Charming. That's another high expectation. Expecting him to just know how to be a prince, expecting him to give up his old life forever.

He hates when there's a ball or gala. They expect him to like the formal suits that are uncomfortably tight in far too many places. They expect him to know how to behave exactly like a Prince. He's really just a gigantic klutz.

He hates how fluffy the beds are. Perfectly fine for sleeping in, but the incredible cloud-like fluffiness proves almost too unstable for the doings of his secret nights spent with his beautiful Princess Anna. They expect... They expect... Nothing. They expect nothing but sleeping to ever occur in a bed. Boy, are they wrong.

He hates... He hates...

He decides he should stop thinking of what he hates. He should think about what in the castle he loves. Besides Anna.

He loves the chapel, with its rainbow stained glass windows, its beautiful pipe organ, and the sheer complexity of the architecture. His most treasured memory occurred in that very chapel. His wedding to the Princess. They expected it to be formal and dignified. What they didn't expect was for half the room to be filled with trolls. As of that day, they expect Kristoff Bjorgman to love and cherish Princess Anna until death do they part. Finally, one of their expectations that'll be easy to fulfill.

Anna enters the room, interrupting his thoughts. She tells him the news.

Speaking of expectations...

Now they also expect him to know how to be a father.
