Summary: Valentine's Day has come once more in Domino City. For once, Jonouchi actually got a gift from someone.
Random talk: A little story I came up with at school when I was bored. Really short… Hope you people like it! Also, only the beginning was edited.
Valentine's Day was one of those days most people looked forward to. For girls, it allowed them to express their lover for someone. For boys, the day meant free stuff. Jonouchi was one of those few that hated the day.
"What's so great about today?" Jonouchi asked.
"Come on," Anzu said. "Just because you don't get anything means you can ruin it for the rest of us!"
"It's not about the chocolates I don't get! Look at Kaiba's desk! He gets all of those presents and he doesn't even want them!"
"Don't forget about all of those other girls who threw away the other chocolates from his locker," Honda said.
"Guys, what if Kaiba can hear us?" Anzu pointed out. "He is just on the opposite side of the room…"
"Who cares about him!" Jonouchi said. The blond open his desk and froze. There, in the middle of the desk, was a white fabric bag tied with a light blue ribbon.
"What's that, Jonouchi-kun?" Yuugi asked.
"I think it's a gift," Jonouchi said, picking up the bag. He untied the ribbon, reached into the bag, and pulled out a small piece of chocolate. There were more chocolate identical to the one in the blonde's hand inside the bag.
"I think someone has a secret admirer," Honda said. "Look, there was a card under the bag. 'Even if you may think otherwise, I'll always be there for you. Just like I promised.' That sounds like the right kind of girl for me."
"I'll say!" Jonouchi said, mouth full of chocolate. "You guys have to try this chocolate! She must have done something to it because it taste better than what you can get in the store!"
The four friends ate the chocolate and shared their theories on who the mystery girl was. They didn't notice one of their classmates leave, except Yuugi. He followed the student until no one was in sight.
"Kaiba-kun, where are you going?" Yuugi asked.
"If you must know, I have other arrangements today," Kaiba said. "Why don't you go back to your cheerleaders?"
"The chocolates were great. Why did you give them to Jonouchi-kun?"
Kaiba paused and turned around. "I have no clue what you are talking about."
"You can't fool me. I've seen how you have been looking at him lately. Just admit it, Kaiba-kun. Please?"
Kaiba stared at his short rival. He saw Yuugi's pure intentions shine in his violet eyes. All the CEO could do was give a small smile. Yuugi became confused by this small act.
"Your right. If only you could reverse what Aphrodite has done. Thank you for trying to help me, Eros."
"Huh?"
"Greek Mythology. You just reminded me a little of a matchmaker just then, just like Eros. Besides, his Roman counterpart looks a little freaky."
"But I didn't do anything."
"Knowing you, you would have gone and try and convince the blond to cheer me up."
"I guess so… I would have just told him about it…"
"See? Don't tell anyone, and I mean anyone, about this conversation."
"Um, sure Kaiba-kun. See you tomorrow."
That night, Yuugi looked up Eros on the Internet. He laughed ate the results he got. Evidently, Eros is Cupid's Greek name.
OWARI
Random talk: I love the ending… What I want to do is make a sequel to this. It's going to tell what happens from after Valentine's Day to White Day. Tell me if I should go on ahead and make the sequel. Oh, there is going to be more Greek Mythology references if I do the sequel!
Until our paths cross again!
