Sorakami: How do you do my minions. I mean slaves. I mean my dear readers. Anyways Sora do the disclaimer please.
Sora: Okie dokie other Sora. Sorakami doesn't own Kingdom hearts or the song shadows and regrets. Even though she wish she did.
Roxas: She would also like everyone to listen to the song shadow and regrets while watching it's what gave her the inspiration.
Sorakami: Roxas when did you get here? Oh what ever *glomp*
Riku: And the story begins.

I'm back, back in town, and everything has changed.
Sora walked down the road he was visiting his hometown and was heading over to meet someone in the Kingdom Hearts café. He looked around at the familiar surroundings. They added a couple of new things, but he still new almost everyone in the small town.
I feel, feel let down, the faces stay the same. I see, see shadows, of who we use to be.
Sora stopped at the beach and remembered how he and his best friend would run up and down the stretch of sand. They had their wooden swords in hand always messing around. His hair wasn't as spiky then and his silver headed friend kept his now long hair short as his mom would let him.
When I drive, drive so slow through this memory.
Sora looked up at the sky and recalled how it was so easy back then
When we were only kids, and we were best friends, and we hoped for the best, and let go of the rest.
Sora kept moving and stopped at the park underneath the Sakura tree where he had his first kiss.
I heard, heard myself say things I take back.
It was with this red headed girl named Kairi. He was only 10 at the time; he was still new to this sort of thing. When his best friend heard what happened they got into a major fight. He closed his eyes flashing back to when he looked it to those piercing green eyes and said sorry.
If I could, could retell and make these stories last.
Sora put his hand on the Sakura tree and smiled fondly. It held great memories.
I see, see shadows of who we'll always be. When I drive, drive these roads that made our memories.
Sora started towards the café again remembering the meeting he set up. Everywhere he went there were flashes of his friends and him. The more common ones were of him and his silver headed best friend.
When we were only kids and our time couldn't end, and how tall did we stand with the world in our hands.
Sora sighed and closed his eyes and realized how everything kept changing around him.
Everything has changed. The faces stay the same.
He reached the café and pushed the door open. Simultaneously searching out the person he was meeting up with. He smiled brightly when his eyes landed on said person.
And we were only kids.
He walked over happily.
And we were best of friends.
Sora sat down his smile never wavering.
And we hoped for the best.
"Hey" the person greeted.
And let go of the rest.
Sora leaned in and kissed the person on the lips. It was short but sweet.
Shadows and regrets.
The person gladly complied too their lovers wish.
Let go of the rest.
Sora leaned back and looked at his silver headed friend fondly. "Love you Riku" he said. Riku smiled a small genuine smiled and whispered "Love you too." Back before leaning in for another kiss.
The End
