WARNING SPOILERS FOR MARK OF ATHENA!
But seriously? I wish there had been more Percabeth. So here goes!

Disclaimer: Me no own HoO or PJatO

Percy couldn't believe his luck. He finally got Annabeth back, all to himself! Of coarse, Coach Hedge had to ruin that when he "grounded" Annabeth, after catching them accidentally sleeping on the floor of the stables. But that didn't mean that Percy couldn't still see his girlfriend. Nor did it stop them from sneaking out of their cabins each night to talk and (finally) have a little alone time.

So there he was, in Annabeth's cabin aboard the Argo II. He liked that it was nothing fancy, just a simple desk, bunk, and Daedalus' laptop. Her Yankees cap hung on a peg on the wall. Percy was sitting at the foot of her bed, while she sat on her pillow and told him about how things in New York had been while he was gone.

Percy couldn't help cursing himself when she told him how worried his mother was. He hadn't even thought about his mom since that call from Alaska! If he only had a drachma he could... What? What could he do? They were in completely different time zones, and his mother had work! He couldn't just pop in via IM when she was concentrating on her novel... He made a mental note to call her as soon as they left Rome, and it was morning in Manhatten.

He listened attentively as his girlfriend described the building of the Argo II, but he wasn't really listening to her. All that mattered was that the ship had been built successfully, after all. So instead, he found himself absorbing the fact that she was here and as beautiful as ever. He studied the way her hair shined in the light, making it silvery/gold. He noticed how her eyes sparkled as she described how she personally designed the stables (they were pretty amazing, and he would now, having spent lots of time in many stables... Especially that one.)

How he loved those eyes... They had never changed, even when everything else had. Always stormy grey, though they could change shades with her move. They could stare down an oppenent and make them run for their mommies, yet still give him the time of day when they weren't fighting monsters.

And that's when he found himself leaning in, and cutting her off mid-sentence with a kiss. When they pulled away, those beautiful grey eyes attempted to glare at him, but he knew her too well. He saw the small smile on her lips, and the twinkle in those storrmy eyes.

Those stormy eyes that he loved.

Merp this isn't even a Oneshot... More like a drabble. OH WELL! That solved my Percy-in-MoA problems. Seriously though, HOW DID HE FORGET ABOUT HIS MOM?! Adios, back to hiatus status!
