Ok so my friend was going to write a one shot about a song, and I was like, yeah, i'll try that too, so that's kind of what this is. Now go easy on me PLEASE mostly I don't know what I'm doing. Just trying the best i can.

Summery: After auditioning for a singing competition, Stacy's life is full of hectic schedules and never ending interview's. Then one day she starts to wonder. Where does my personal life fit in? When do I actually get to get my happy ending instead of just acting it. Her life get's flipped upside down after a unexpected meeting with a dangerous hunk ;). Stacy has to make a important decision. Fame or love?

Enjoy :)

Stacy's eyes flicked nervously from left to right. What am I doing here? I'm not cut out for this!

She glanced down at her palms to find them damp with perspiration. Oh great. She grimanced. Now I'll drop the mic on stage and everyone will just laugh and... I KNEW this was a bad idea!

She desperately looked at her mom. Her mother, Caroline, gave her a cold look.

Silent message: Don't f*** this up for me.

Stacy turned away. This is to much pressure for a 16 year old girl. If i mess up not only will i be a laughing stock but my mom will beat me again...

*Flashback*

"NO MOM! I don't want to go on that STUPID SHOW with all those ignorant-full-of-themselves critics and sing in front of them! Not only is it social suicide but it's embarrassing!"

My face flushed to the tips of my ears with anger.

My mother gave me a glare that would have made flowers wilt and grown men cry.

"You will do it because I'm your mother and I'm in control NOT you!"

"But mom!" I protested. "This is my choice not your's! My life is on the line here!"

"I dont care!" She screeched back at me and lunged, reaching out and slapping me across my cheek

After that it was just a big blurr. A blurr because of my tears or my bad memory i dont know but...

*End*

She is such a evil bi***!

Just as I felt like i was about to rip my blonde hair out strand by tiny strand i heard a haggled voice over the crackly intercom.

"Stacy Grace please report to center stage."

My heart started to beat wildly in my chest and I broke out into a cold sweat as my heavy steps brought me to the vast blue stage where my undeniable fate awaited me.

"This is it."

I whispered to myself, bringing the microphone slowly up to my lips.
