Okay so, There's apparently some lines that were said about Girl Meets New Years and here's my little drabble or take on what happened in new years. I'll probably keep doing this when spoilers come out for New Years, but I'm not sure If I should keep doing this for future GMW episodes. Anyways, I hope you enjoy!

GM New Years

"Quit being annoying and let her talk!" Lucas said to Maya.

Maya stared at Lucas who scrunched his eyebrows in anger. It was clear that Texas Lucas was coming out. Her eyes went from Lucas to Riley who was staring right at Lucas, her hands folded in front of her. She then drifted to look at Farkle who wouldn't take his eyes off of Riley. Maya bit her bottom lip and looked down.

"Fine." She said, placing the fake smile she was so used to back on her face. "Continue Riley"

"She lied" Farkle said jumping in when he noticed that Riley couldn't talk. "She still has feelings for Lucas and she lied"

"Why would you do that?" Lucas asked, his eyes focused directly on Riley. Riley stared back.

Maya looked at them, the way they stared at each other. She was hurt and she hoped it didn't show on her face. She started to walk. Any place seemed better than here right now. On the rooftop with their entire class. She was walking out of the roof, pushing her way towards the door. Her heels clanked against the metal stairs loudly. She could hear footsteps following her which caused her to increase her speed. She got back into the apartment building and pushed past adults and teenagers, trying to get out of the building as fast as possible. She looked behind her to see Lucas running after her but she pushed herself harder to keep a safe distance. Maya dunked underneath acouple trying to take a picture and pushed passed more adults, once she got to the open elevator she continued to press G and close the elevator before Lucas, Riley, and Farkle had the chance of coming in. The metal doors started to close as Lucas pushed through the crowd, pulling Riley in tow.

Once the elevator doors closed Maya released a breathe of air she was holding in. Her lip trembled but she bit it down. She wasn't weak. This wasn't like her. She wasn't going to get all emotional over a guy. That wasn't her. She shook her head to regain her composure. Everything that happened with her and Lucas meant nothing. She just had to believe that and she would be fine. The rose and cowboy hat during the first dance meant nothing. The inside jokes meant nothing. What happened at the campfire meant nothing.

The elevator opened and she stepped out. Her eyes went to the clock to see that it was 11:30. She started to head out towards the building.

"I did the right thing" Farkle said confidently nodding his head.

He glanced at Riley who looked at Lucas. "Hi" She said, giving him a small smile.

"Hey" he said giving her one back.

"Right?" he wasn't sure anymore. He had told Riley at the start of the party that she had until midnight to tell Lucas and Maya the truth or else he would. It was an ultimatum but it wasn't far for her to hurt like that. Except now it's Maya that's hurting. It's Maya that's in pain. At that moment Farkle didn't know if it was the right thing. It seemed like the right thing to do at the time. He didn't like how it was going with them since Texas. The awkward dates, the awkward interactions. He just wanted things to go back and he didn't want anyone to hurt. He didn't want Riley to hurt. That's what their job was right? As the Riley Committee, to make sure Riley was protected from anything that could hurt her and crush her brighten spirit.

So why did everything feel so wrong? Why did it feel like he just betrayed one of his best friends? Why didn't he feel like it was the right thing to do anymore?
