Hello everyone! This is the first chapter of the first ever fanfiction I publish on this site. It's going to be a long one, as I plan on making a lot of chapters out of this, because I like many chaptered fanfictions ^.^

So shall we begin? Elio/Selene and Hau/OC ships

Chapter One: The Afternoon Call

Elio sat around in his room in Kanto. Everything had been packed and ready to go to Alola, an idea his mother had gotten from her friend there. He was looking at his small broadcaster when it began to ring, the address was a "Kukui"

Kukui was the name of that Professor he thought.

He picked up, and a slightly tan man wearing a white cap, white lab coat, and shorts stood looking at the screen.

"Hey, how are you?" he said.

"I'm doing fine, Professor Kukui. Is there something you need?" I asked.

"Your mother asked me to get your passport ready, so I wanted to make sure I had everything down. Are you ready to come to Alola, cousin?"

"I'm going to miss Kanto a bit, but I hope that Alola is going to be exciting."

"Ah, you'll love Alola, cousin!"

"I'm sure I will."

As Professor Kukui spoke to Elio about his passport, Elio answered the questions he needed to answer. Professor Kukui bid him goodbye and hung up. Elio looked out his window, seeing the sun shining. He still had some time before they took the plane to Alola, so Elio checked everything he wanted to bring. His watch was fine, but he would need to set the clock to Alolan time, and his backpack was loaded with books in the back pocket and pencils in the front pocket. He looked over, seeing his acoustic guitar sitting at the door.

That acoustic guitar found him the girl with the moon birthmark he thought to himself.

He shook his head. She was long gone now, and he didn't need to think about her. They became close when he was 5, their birthmarks of the sun and moon matching, and when he was 9, she left Kanto to go back home.

Flashback

"So you're going back home?" he asked her, looking down.

"I'm sorry, Sun. Mom and Dad wanted to go back after being homesick." she said.

The young Elio looked down, a small tear falling in his eye.

"Will I ever see you again?" he asked.

"I promise to send you letters, and I promise to find a way to come to you when I'm old enough!" she said.

Elio looked up at her, and she and him both smiled.

"Moon, it's time to go sweetie!" Moon's father said.

"Goodbye, Moon." Elio said.

Moon looked at Elio, a small tear forming in her eye. She leaned herself up to Elio's sun-birthmarked cheek, kissing it softly. He blushed as she started to back away.

"That's a promise that we will meet again. Goodbye, Sun." she said, running towards her parents.

End of flashback

Elio slowly moved his hand down the sun-marked cheek, recalling that one single kiss. He didn't realize they had grown that close, and after she had left he was depressed, especially after his father-

No. He wouldn't think about that, not now.

"Elio, it's time to get to the airport!" Elio's mom said.

"Coming, Mom!" he shouted, grabbing his backpack and the guitar, taking one good look back.

"I'm coming, Alola. I'm coming."
