"So, you are the famous Elsa Winters I've heard so much about" said the man, now spinning around to face her.

"I'm not sure about the famous part but yes, I am Elsa Winters" Elsa replied.

"Please, take a seat. I want to get to know more about my future -or current- assistant" he grinned cheekily, shooting her a wink. "So let's get started, shall we?

Elsa sighed before taking a seat, mentally scolding herself for choosing this department.

How did it all start again?

...

~The previous day~

"Elsa!" Elsa felt the air knocked out of her once she entered the house, having returned from her interview. She looked down and saw Anna hugging her tightly, and Elsa awkwardly hugged her back. Elsa loved her sister, a lot, but she could never match Anna's level of cheeriness even if she's having mood swings!

"Woah, calm down there baby!" Elsa yelled, trying to breathe through her sister's crushing hug. She was finally released but Anna had other plans as she dragged Elsa to the living room, literally pushing her on the couch. "Seriously?" Elsa raised an eyebrow at her sister.

"Sheesh, just tell me what happened at your interview already!" Anna huffed.

"Well, I got the job but-"

"REALLY?!" Anna yelled, her wide eyes widening even more as a huge grin spread on her face. "OMG thats so great! You got the job! Which means your interview was a success! With the CEO at that! Goodness, was he intimidating? Was he scary? Gosh, I hope he's not scary! I don't want you becoming even scarier than you are now! But that doesn't mean you're scary or anything! I mean, your usual self is really intimidating and you scare off most of the people who even come near you! But you really are sweet sis, you're the sweetest, adorablest, cutest person I've ever met and-"

"Anna, you're rambling again."

"Oops, sorry. Well, please, continue"

"As I was saying, the interview was a success, the CEO was really impressed and I'm already appointed as-"

"His assistant?"

"No Anna, he already has one, he doesn't need another. Phil is a really good worker and I won't be stealing his job. And well, after the interview, the CEO asked me which department I would like to work under-"

"There are five right? The Tooth Palace of Memories, the Sandcastle of Dreams, the Warren of Hope, Santa's Workhouse of Wonder and Winter's Blizzard of Fun!"

"Yes Anna, I know the five departments. Well, he gave me a choice, and I went with the last one. Yes Anna, I know you wanted me to join the Tooth Palace or the Sandcastle but Winter is more of my kind of thing, you know?" Elsa replied, scrolling through her gallery pictures on her phone.

"Yeah. So, what is your post there?" Anna asked curiously.

"Assistant to the Head of Winter's Blizzard of Fun"

...

And that's how she ended up here. Elsa had showed up for work the following day, expecting to see some middle-aged or even older man with much experience in running the whole department, and was indeed shocked when she found a handsome young man about the same age as her, sitting in the Head Office where the Department Pres would be sitting.

After shrugging off her shock, she had informed him about herself, and had definitely not expected him to instantly start flirting with her.

Jack Frost, her current boss, was definitely someone whom you would call a 'drop dead gorgeous hottie' with his silver-white hair, striking blue eyes and a permanent smirk plastered on his face. He didn't look like the buff type, but definitely did his share of workout in the gym to maintain a good body. And his fashion sense was not bad either. He wore the usual dress shoes, black pants and a blue shirt under a black coat.

Basically, he was the kind of boss who would appear in stories who would sweep the ladies off their feet.

"Um, hello? Earth to Winters?" Jack waved a hand in front of her face. "What are you spacing out for?"

"I-I'm sorry. I dont know what came over me" Elsa muttered, fidgeting with her fingers.

"Well, no need to be nervous about anything" Jack grinned, trying to ease her tension. "I'm not gonna eat you up. And I'm completely being honest, I actually expected some middle-aged lady to walk in and become my assistant. And it really did surprise when a hotshot lady walked into my office, claiming to be Elsa Winters, the assistant North had picked for me."

Elsa merely raised an eyebrow at the 'hotshot lady' part, but decided not to ask about it. "Um, not to be rude or anything, but can I know where my office is? I'd like to settle down by the end of the day"

"Huh, of course. Here, let me take you to your office" Jack offered, standing up as he opened his draw and pulled out a key with a snowflake keychain.

"Oh no, its okay. Just show me the way and I'll be off, sir" Elsa got on her feet, expecting him to consider her words and just give her the keys. But alas, she was surprised yet again.

"Nah, I'll show it to you myself. It is the only other room in this floor anyways" Jack shrugged, walking around the desk before walking out. Elsa followed him and noticed that there weren't any other offices around, and that apart from Jack's office, there was only one room, which she guessed was her workplace.

Jack opened the door, and instead of walking in, he held it open for her. "Ladies first" he invited her in. Elsa muttered a 'Thank you' as she walked past him, taking in her surroundings at once.

Her office was a lot like Jack's. White walls, a white ceiling with a beautiful chandelier which looked like it was made of ice -though Elsa knew it was not-, brown furniture, a white computer on the desk and a glass wall right behind her desk, overlooking the city side. There were many cabinets and few of them already had a few books. Jack hung the keys on a key-holder right next to the door and Elsa noticed, with slight amusement, that the key holder was in the shape of a snowflake with seven hooks attached to it. Six on the ends of the spikes and one in the middle.

"Do you like the office?" asked Jack, leaning against the wall next to the door as he watched Elsa looking around.

"Yeah. Its beautiful" Elsa whispered.

"I'm glad. I'll have you know that I chose the style myself" Jack informed proudly, crossing his arms as he smirked smugly.

"Wow, didn't know you had style" Elsa commented, now sitting on the chair behind the desk.

"Ouch, you hurt me Snowflake!" He held his hand over his heart. "Well, settle down. I'll send your part of work via email. See ya" and after shooting a cheeky two-finger salute along with a wink, he was off to his own office, leaving Elsa alone.

"Please tell me this is not how the rest of my business life is gonna be" she muttered under her breath, rubbing her eyes with her thumb and index finger.

...

God really hates me, doesn't he?

Was the only thought Elsa had in her head as she walked across the lobby and towards the big double doors, trying to avoid the glares some of her female acquaintances were shooting at her. Its not her fault, really.

Ever since Elsa began to work there, Jack seemed to have his eye on her -in a good way-. He would be seen waiting in the lobby, doing something in his mobile phone, talking with someone or just simply sitting around. And once she enters, his whole form would brighten up, he would quickly walk over to greet her and together, they would go to their respective offices. And Jack would always -always- try to initiate a conversation with her.

And most of the single-female-population seemed to have their sights on her as well. Jack used to be playful and funny but overtime he became stern, knowing that the cheery personality was going nowhere with his acquaintances. But some of ladies clearly were the flirty ones, trying their best to seduce them. But Jack would always politely and sometimes sternly reject them, clearly showing that he never was interested in them in that way. And though they knew it, they didn't lose hope. So obviously, when a hot chick just randomly walks in, becomes his assistant out of nowhere and captures his complete attention, the hopeful females got jealous and tried their best to break her down and make her quit her job.

But Elsa was the I-dont-take-no-shit-from-anyone kind of person, and successfully ignored them in the first few weeks. But then it became painfully obvious about how they felt, and she couldn't make any friends, except for a precious few who were either already committed/married or just not interested in him. And few of these rare gems were Moana Motunui - a Hawaiian who was the receptionist, Asuna Kirigaya - a Japanese hottie working as the cashier and who looked a bit too young to be working though she was already married, and the IT team consisting of Tadashi, Hiro, GoGo, Honey Lemon, Fred and Wasabi.

Elsa shook her head lightly, trying to get rid of her thoughts. She stepped out and sighed in relief when she felt the cold air hit her face. And though she loved the cold, she couldn't help but pull her jacket closer as she walked down the front stairs. After giving a small smile to the middle-aged guard sitting in front of the CCTV cameras in the small cabin next to the gate, she stepped out of the building gates when she stopped, hearing someone calling her name. She turned around and was surprised when she found Jack running towards her, waving when he neared her.

"Is something the matter, boss? Did you forget to mention something?" Elsa asked.

"Nah, nothin like that. And how many times have I told you to just call me Jack, Elsa?" He asked the last part sternly.

"I'm sorry bos- I mean, Jack. Well, why did you run from the entrance to me like your life depended on it, if you didn't have anything to say?"

"Ha ha, very funny. I just came to ask if you wanted to ride with me tonight" he asked casually, giving her that damned sweet smile which he never seems to give anyone else. Elsa bit her lip, unsure of what to reply.

"Um, that's very sweet of you Jack, but its okay. I can go on my own. Besides the bus stop is just a few blocks away."

"Its dark already and the streets around here aren't safe. I really insist you drive with me tonight"

"I'm sorry Jack, but I need to get something for dinner for my sister and myself on the way. Maybe sometime later?"

"If that's what you want then sure!" He replied cheerfully. Elsa was taken aback in surprise at how easily he gave up since he isn't a person who would normally back out from an argument. But then she smiled, and waved goodbye before she took off.

After walking a few roads away from the office, Elsa looked around and behind her for the third time, feeling uncomfortable like someone is watching her. She shrugged it off but the farther she walked from the office, the more the uncomfortable feeling grew.

It's nothing. I'm just imagining it. Just think of good things! I'm gonna head to the bus stop, hitch a ride back home, buy something for dinner on the way and have a movie night with Anna while cuddling on the couch and-

Her thoughts were cut short when a really rough hand grabbed hers, pulled her into a nearby alley and slapped itself over her mouth as she was pinned to the wall. She watched with wide eyes as the buff guy stared at her up and down, licking his lips and grinning while showing off his yellow teeth.

"Well, look what we've got here" he leered, coming closer to her face and Elsa's nose scrunched at his foul breath. But she was least bothered by the smell when her heart was pounding loudly, fearing the unthinkable as she struggled for air. "I'm sure gonna have fun tearing up your-"

Elsa acted quickly, raising her leg up and kicking him in his huge stomach. The guy hissed and held his stomach and in that millisecond, Elsa released herself from his grip and ran out, but then she fell forwards when he yanked her leg and dragged her into the alley. And once she was completely in the darkness, he grinned again before towering over her body. Elsa's eyes started pouring out the tears, though she didn't want them to, as she tried backing away and ended up trapped against a wall. "Feisty eh? I like it! It just makes you more delicious! Oh, how I can't wait to just-"

The guy flew backwards and crashed to the ground when a hand came out of nowhere and grabbed the back of his shirt before hauling him up, punching him so hard that he fell and knocked his head on the nearby wall. Elsa's eyes were wide as saucers when she looked up and saw Jack towering over the guy, hands clenched into fists and one of his fists standing out from punching him.

Jack was breathing heavily, his eyes blazing with fury as he glared down at the guy, who was clearly planning to rape her. He quickly lent her a hand, which she gladly accepted, before pulling her to her feet and let her stand behind him.

The man got to his feet, glaring back at Jack before spitting the blood out of his mouth. "Why you little-" he hissed before lunging towards Jack, who quickly kicked him in the stomach and punched his jaw, which sent him flying before he crashed among a few dust bins nearby.

Jack pulled his hand back before turning to Elsa. He walked closer to her, noticing her staring at him in shock, before he placed his hand on her cheek and wiped the tears away. Elsa snapped from her shock, her knees going weak at what just happened. Jack was quick to hold her up, before Elsa threw her arms around Jack's waist and continued sobbing, his shoulder getting wet from her tears. But Jack didn't complain as he wrapped his arms around her shoulders, rubbing her back reassuringly.

"Its alright, Snowflake. You're alright, he's gone and I'm here for you" he whispered. Elsa tightened her grasp around him, controlling her sobs.

"Thank you" she whispered, burying her face in his shoulder.

"Anytime." He whispered back, his hand now stroking her hair. "Come on, let's leave this place. My car's just round the corner"

He led her to where he had parked his car, one arm still around her shoulders while Elsa just looked down the whole time. He opened the passenger's seat door for her and Elsa got in after muttering a small 'thank you'. He got into the driver's seat and they were off to Elsa's house.

"We're here, Snowflake" Jack said as he removed his seat belt and looked at her when there was no reply. And only then did he realise that Elsa had cried herself to sleep, and was still having a sour expression from what just happened. Jack smiled softly, pushing her bangs back which caused the corners of Elsa's lips to lift into a small smile.

She's so cute.

He quickly got out of his car, carrying a small plastic bag before he stopped in front the door and rung the bell.

"Finally! I thought you're never comin-" Anna stopped abruptly when she realised that instead of her sister, there was a gorgeous god in the form of a young man standing before her door.

"I'm sorry for coming at this time at night but are you Anna Winters?" Jack asked politely. Anna just stared at him with wide eyes, before slowly nodding in reply.

"Um, yeah, that's me. Am I supposed to know you?" She asked.

"I'm Jack Frost, Elsa's boss" he introduced himself. At the mention of her sister's name, Anna forgot all about her thoughts of how handsome he is and quickly went into panic mode.

"Have you seen Elsa anywhere? Its awfully late and she never stays outside so late into the night and I'm getting scared and I dont know what to do! Should I call the police? What if she's in trouble and-"

"Woah woah, calm down there Ms Winters. Yes, she is late. She was overworking and lost track of time. And that's why I brought her home myself" he explained.

"Well, where is she?" She asked worriedly.

"Dont worry, she's fast asleep in the car. I just came to give this to you before I brought her in. That is, if I can bring her in, depending on your decision" Jack muttered, turning a bit pink which was hardly noticeable.

"I dont have any problem having you at our home. And what?" She asked in confusion. Jack held out the plastic bag and Anna grabbed it, seeing a pizza box in it. "Wow, thanks a lot Mr Frost"

"Just call me Jack. Well, I better bring her back." Jack quickly walked over to his car, carefully lifted Elsa in his arms -bridal style- before she shut the door of the passenger seat and walked into the house and followed Anna who led the way to Elsa's room.

"W-what happened to her? I mean, Elsa isn't exactly a person who would agree to ride in others' car, more or else fall asleep while doing so" Anna asked, noticing the tear streaks on her sisters face as she pulled the blanket over the platinum-blonde.

"Yeah, about that...we have something to talk about. Something which happened tonight when she stepped out of the office building..." And her bedroom door closed as the younger Winters and the silver-haired boss headed down to the living room.

...

"Goodness, why does my head ache so much?" Elsa groaned as she woke up the next morning. She sat up in bed, noticing that she was still in her work attire, her hair was disheveled and her face feeling somewhat weird. She rubbed her eyes a few times and froze in her bed when she remembered the previous night's incidents. She sighed once more, flopping on her bed backwards as she stared at the ceiling. "I still have to thank Frost for helping me yesterday." She sighed, swinging her legs over the side of the head before standing up and leaving the room. She yawned a couple of times before she finally reached the living room.

"Hey Elsa, good morning" Anna smiled at her before continuing to stir a spoon in her mug, finishing off the hot chocolate. Elsa greeted her back with a dull 'morning' before falling on the couch face first. "Is something the matter?" The strawberry-blonde asked in worry.

"Feeling pain. Everywhere" Elsa muttered. She sighed once more before rolling over, now facing the ceiling before she sat up. "There's something I need to tell you"

"If its about yesterday night, don't worry. I know what happened" Anna walked forward with two mugs in her hand, gently placing one in front of her sister.

"What?!" Elsa yelled, facing her sister with eyes wide with shock and confusion. "How did you-"

"What's the last thing you remember of yesterday?" Anna asked, sitting next to Elsa.

"Um... I was in Jack's car watching the building lights outside and its all blank after that" she muttered.

"Of course it would be, you fell asleep!" Anna giggled.

"Seriously? Then how the hell did I end up in my bed, neatly tucked in with my shoes and jacket removed, my phone and keys placed on the nightstand with a box of chocolates right on my dresser?" Elsa questioned.

"Well, you'll have to thank your boss for that," Anna sipped her hot chocolate and continued before Elsa could ask anything else. "He brought you home, brought some pizza for my supper, carried you to your bedroom like how Prince Charming would do for his Princess, decently requested me to tuck you in knowing you wouldn't be comfortable if he helped you, and then explained what happened to you last night."

"Why would he do that? I'm already receiving enough hate from most of the female population in our office and this is just gonna boost it up! Which reminds me..." She trailed off, raising her hand to glance at her wristwatch wen she abruptly gasped and stood up. "Its 10:30?! Holy mother of snowflakes, I'm dead!" She sprinted to her room and started stripping off her clothes when she heard Anna banging on her bedroom door.

"You dont have to worry and panic! Jack gave you a day off today!"

"Wait, what?!" Elsa popped her head out of the room.

"Just shower, put on something comfortable and come downstairs. I'll tell you what happened when you were dozing off" and off she went. Elsa just stared after her sister before closing the door, heading to the bathroom in confusion and curiosity.

...

"So he just gave me a break, just like that?" Elsa raised an eyebrow.

"Why wouldn't he? I mean, you just went through the most scariest moment of your life!" Anna exclaimed, before her face turned dead serious. "Which reminds me, please dont try to do everything on your own Elsa, I beg you! I know you prefer to be independent from the lack of help we receive but when someone lends a helping hand, please accept it! I mean, if Jack had listened to you and had left you alone, you-" and she stopped, her eyes filling with tears. Elsa's heart clenched in guilt as she pulled her sister into a hug.

"I'm so sorry Anna. I didn't know you were so worried about me. I'll make sure to accept anyone's help if I'm in need of it, okay?" She asked softly. Anna nodded before pulling back, sniffing as she pulled out her handkerchief and wiped the tears.

"Well, let's just forget about it now. Here" Anna handed the box of chocolates which had been on Elsa's dresser when she had worn up. "Jack stopped by this morning. He gave this and a few more snacks to enjoy your day off while watching movies. He told me all of it was for me as well! What a nice guy!" she giggled, opening the cover full of snacks. Elsa looked down and took the box of chocolates in her hands, turning it over and saw a note stuck to it.

Hope this brightens your day! Take rest and enjoy your break Snowflake! ~Your Guardian and Boss.

That's so sweet of him...

Elsa smiled, blushing a bit when she read the 'YOUR Guardian and Boss' part. She quickly shook her head, opening the box before popping one of the chocolates in her mouth.

"Mmmhmmmmm~" she moaned in delight, closing her eyes in bliss as the chocolate melted in her mouth. "Literally the best chocolate I've ever tasted" she sighed, grabbing another one before noticing the longing look on her sister's face. "What?"

"Is it really that good?" Anna asked, clearly and very obviously holding back. But she raised her hands and shook her head in a no when Elsa offered the chocolate she was holding. "He bought it for you, you should be the one eating it!"

"And he also told that all of it was for you as well! He knows how much I love you because he has a younger sister as well who is more or less your age" she said, stuffing the chocolate in her sister's mouth herself. Anna was about to say something but stopped and fell backwards, her eyes rolling to the back of her head as she sighed in bliss.

"Where the hell did this guy get these chocolates?!"

...

"Good morning Elsa!"

"Oh, good morning Moana. Did you see Ja- Mr Frost anywhere?" Elsa asked sweetly.

"Oh yeah, he went in the elevator about half an hour ago or something. I was kinda surprised that he didn't wait for you as he normally does. Did you two have a fight or something?" Moana asked, her eyes displaying her concern.

"Oh no, nothing like that. I guess he just didn't know I'm back to work today. And no, before you start questioning, nothing happened. And- oh no, dont even think about lecturing me! I know I shouldn't work so much, I'll take care, thank you. Well, I better get going" and she quickly walked away from the reception and to the elevator. Moana just blinked, her mouth still open from when she had opened it to scold her, and snapped from her trance only when one of her coworkers called out for her help.

Elsa reached the highest floor of the building and was about to enter her office when she looked back at the other door, remembering how she still hadn't thanked him properly. She slowly walked towards his office before knocking on the door.

"Come in" his faint voice replied. She opened the door, sucking in her breath when she saw him sitting at his desk and typing something on his computer, looking as perfect as ever. He wore his typical suit and had a darker shaded blue shirt on, the first three buttons undone, with a black tie hanging loosely from his neck. And the sunlight streaming into the room from the glass walls wasn't helping at all.

Jack looked up and his face brightened as bright as the room when he saw her.

"Snowflake!" He greeted, pushing his chair back as he stood up. The door behind her automatically closed as she walked in and smiled in greeting.

"Good morning Mr Frost"

"Again with the formalities, how many times have I told you to just-"

"Call you Jack. Yes, I get it, my bad," she rolled her eyes. Jack grinned again before walking around the desk, leaning backwards against it and standing right in front of her.

"Well, anyways what are you doing here? I thought I had sent you on break."

"I did in fact take a break"

"Yeah, for one day. How fun is that?"

"Whatever." She muttered before fidgeting with her fingers nervously when she remembered what she had actually come here for. "Oh, and um, I came here to uh- thank you, for yesterday and the day before."

"Nah, dont sweat it," he smiled charmingly at her.

"No really, thanks a lot. I feel guilty that you helped me so much and I haven't helped you at all. So just tell me what you want"

Jack just raised his eyebrows before shaking his head as he walked towards one of the glass walls which looked over the beautiful scenery around their office.

"There's really nothing that I want" he replied, placing his hands in his pocket as he leaned backwards against the glass.

"Oh come on, there must be something!" She pointed out.

"No really! There's nothing I want! I've got no issues in the business, North is very satisfied with my work, I've got Emma, the other Guardians and you. What more could I possibly want?" He asked, gesturing her to come and stand next to him.

"How am I supposed to know? I just know that you've helped me big time and I want to pay you back with something that would make you equally happy" she said determinedly, staring right into his eyes after standing next to him.

"Anything that would make me happy?" He asked, surprised, though Elsa could see that he was planning something. His eyes were more than enough proof to know that it was something unexpected.

"Yes" she confirmed.

"Anything?"

"Anything."

"Well then" he smirked, casually turning and walking really close to her. Elsa was about to back away when she realised that she was in fact leaning on the glass wall and she couldn't exactly escape. Her eyes widened and her face turned pink when he leaned in so close that their noses were almost touching, and cursed herself for being just a bit shorter than him when he placed his forearm on the glass just above her head.

Elsa turned red when Jack lifted her chin up using his other hand, having perfectly trapped her in his grasp. And the fact that he was smirking was definitely NOT helping. She bit her lip when she felt his breath hot against her lips, and used all her willpower to look at his eyes and not his lips. And apparently, the closeness was not enough for him. He pressed against her, completely trapping her as she sucked in a breath. He was literally so close that she could almost feel his lips and that definitely made her very uncomfortable, though she kept shutting down the part of her that was screaming at her to act like a normal woman and to just kiss him.

"I want you to spend a whole day on a date with me"

...

"He asked for WHAT?!" Asuna yelled.

Moana, Elsa and Asuna (I know, not the greatest trio) were currently sitting in the cafeteria of their office for their lunch break when the Hawaiian demanded her to tell what happened. Elsa finally gave up and told them the whole story, and had to get them extra food so that they dont burst into tears. And while having Anna on video call, she explained what happened and had all three of them freaking out.

"This is so cute!" Anna and Asuna squealed. I mean, why wouldn't they?

Elsa Winters, the hotshot assistant of Jack Frost who was Head of the whole of Winter's Blizzard of Fun, was asked out by said Head. And not for just some date, he even specified that she needs to spend a whole day with him. And to say Elsa was mortified was an understatement. And thank the lords that she told the others that he just asked her, without going into the details of how he asked her. And she couldn't even imagine their faces if she actually told them.

"Yeah, whats the big deal?!" Elsa asked, trying her best to be casual. "I mean, isn't asking people out for dates considered normal?"

"Yeah, but the fact that you are the very first girl he's asked out isn't exactly helping, you know" Asuna said slyly.

"And the fact that you actually agreed isn't normal either" Anna commented.

And the thing Elsa hated was that she was right. Never ever in her entire life had Elsa ever gone on a date. She was really popular with the boys back in her school and college days but she always politely declined their offers. But this time, she couldn't exactly go back on her words. She was the one who offered to give anything! And if that meant she had to give a whole day of her life to spend it with him, then she shall not back down.

And though Jack was still smirking and grinning when she agreed, she definitely saw something different in his eyes. But she didn't dwell on it for long as she was too flustered and got out of his office as soon as possible, leaving him chuckling against the glass.

"Can we please leave this matter already?! I told you guys about this just because you kept annoying me! And I'm already stressed out and you guys are just adding to the stress!" Elsa groaned.

"Oh come on Elsa! Be positive!" Asuna encouraged.

"I mean, its just a date. What could possibly go wrong?" Moana asked as she sat back, sipping orange juice from the can.

...

The doorbell's sound rung loudly in the house and Anna sprinted down the stairs, furiously opening the door, just to see Jack standing in the doorway.

"Hey Anna!" He grinned, waving at her. But Anna continued to stare at the gorgeous god in front of her. He wore a dark blue button-up shirt, a black leather jacket on it, along with some skinny jeans and black timberland boots. She just continued staring until Jack snapped his fingers in front of her eyes.

"What the- I'm so sorry for staring! Come in!" And she opened the door wider for him to enter.

"Thanks" Jack grinned, stepping into the house. But his grin became more awkward when he caught Anna still staring at him. "Um..." He trailed off, looking around him due to this awkward situation.

"Oh cut the staring already Anna. Can't you see its making him uncomfortable?"

Jack looked up, freezing as Elsa walked down, wearing a simple white T-shirt tucked into her dark blue jeans, a light blue jacket on top along with brown boots. Her hair was in its usual French braid with a few snowflake pins and she had some light makeup on. Seeing Elsa wearing something other than her office attire, Jack just continued staring, wondering how she could look so good just in such simple clothes.

"So, shall we go, Sir?" Elsa asked, now standing before him. Blinking and breaking of his trance, he nodded before the two of them stepped out of the house, Elsa trying to threaten Anna to return back inside since the strawberry-blonde kept muttering inappropriate things.

"Oh, and for today, I'm not your boss. Just a guy who's going on a date with you" He smirked as he said the last part, noticing the adorable blush on her face.

"R-right" Elsa stammered.

"So, shall we go, Snowflake?" He asked, holding out the door of his car's passenger seat.

"We shall" Elsa replied, rolling her eyes and smiling as she got in.

...

"Thanks for the date, Jack" Elsa smiling before continuing to lick her ice cream cone.

"I should be the one thanking you, Snowflake" Jack grinned as the two walked side by side.

After their date, Jack had stopped his car a few streets away from Elsa's home and walked her home, telling that he wanted more of the beautiful night's fresh air.

"You dont have to. I was the one who promised to give you anything, remember?" Elsa stated. Jack stayed quiet for the rest of the way to her house, until they finally reached her home. "Well, goodbye Jack. See you tomorrow" She smiled and waved before heading to the door.

"Snowflake?" He called out. Elsa stopped, turning around and confused as to why he was walking to her now.

"Yes?" She asked. Jack stood right in front of her with only a little space between them, which made Elsa blush.

"Did you go on a date with me, only because you promised to do anything?" Jack asked, staring intensely at her. Though his eyes weren't filled with anger or even the teasing glint he usually had. Completely mesmerized by his gaze, Elsa stared right back, but then started thinking about his question.

"If I'm being honest, initially, yes, I went on the date just because I promised you." She stated. Noticing the flash of hurt in his eyes before he looked down, Elsa smiled softly before placing her hand on his cheek, making him look at her again. "But I dont regret it. Because I enjoyed every single minute of the date and for a minute, I even forgot that you're my boss"

Jack smiled warmly, showing her the most genuine smile she's ever seen.

"Thank you" he whispered, closing his eyes and leaning his forehead against hers. "Well, I better get going. Dont want my sister to get angry and eat me up" he commented dryly. Elsa just stared at him, before she burst out laughing.

"I know how that feels!" She replied, grinning as she looked up at him. "Goodnight Jack" she smiled.

"Goodnight Snowflake" he whispered, hand reaching up and stroking her cheek.

Elsa froze, eyes going wide when she felt Jack leaning forward before he placed a kiss on her other cheek. She continued staring as Jack pulled back, smiled at her and walked away. Elsa just absently reached up and touched her cheek where he had kissed her before she turned red and hurried into her house.

"That did NOT just happen!" Anna screeched, running down the stairs, looking like a complete mess.

"What the heck happened to you?" Elsa asked, raising her eyebrows in surprise at her sister's state.

"That isn't important here!" Anna yelled, pulling Elsa into the living room and pushing her on the couch. "I was chatting with Punzie and just eating random snacks while sitting on the roof. And then I see Jack and you, waking down the street while laughing at talking, having ice cream in your hands nonetheless. Then you both are standing so close, like, SO close, and then you started stroking his cheek and he just looked like you agreed to marry him and then you laughed again and he kissed you freakin cheek and walked away while you were standing there like a teenage girl with a crush and just what the hell!"

"Though you've probably broken the world record by rambling all that in a single breath, how the hell did you see us from the terrace?" Elsa asked. Realising that she had just blurted out everything and that there's no way to escape now, Wanna sheepishly held up the binoculars which she had been hiding behind her back.

Slapping her hand on her forehead, Elsa just leaned back on the couch, reaching for the remote control and opening the news channels.

"Here," Anna offered her a glass of water.

"Thanks" Elsa smiled as she took it in her hand, changing the channel before she started drinking.

"And now, on to the criminal cases. A man of age 45, by the name Jagur Irivetz, was arrested a few days ago, for attempting an attack on a woman who was just passing by. The complaint was issued on 13th January, and the man was caught near the West Park"

"Hey Elsie, the West Park is near your office, right?" Anna asked all of a sudden.

"Yup" Elsa replied, checking something on her phone as she raised her glass to her lips again.

"And you were attacked on he 13th, right?"

Realising what she meant, Elsa choked on the water she was drinking, and turned to the TV where they were showing a picture of her attacker.

"What the- who could've possibly-"

Eyes widening in realisation, both the sister just stared at each other in shock.

"It was Jack, wasn't it?" Anna asked. Elsa stayed quiet just as both of them turned back to the TV, where a footage of the man being caught was shown. Elsa's eyes narrowed when she noticed a very familiar car at the back, next to which a policeman was standing, shaking hands with someone sitting inside the car.

"Oh it was definitely him. But why would he even do that?!" Elsa asked to herself. Anna just stared at her, before shaking her head in disbelief.

You, my sister, are the most oblivious one when it comes to romance...

"Well, I think its pretty obvious why he would go to such extremes for you" Anna said, a smug look plastered on her face.

"And that would be...?"

"I'm pretty sure he wants to tell it to you himself"

"Oh come on! Just tell me!"

"No can do my dear sister, wouldn't want to spoil the fun for him"

"What are you talking about?"

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing"
