After Malekith murdered Frigga, The All Father never once cried.
Never once allowed his eyes to swim with unshed tears.
Never once screamed in rage and heartbreak.
Never once demonstrated his grief.
But the Asgardians could see it.
More lines creased his face.
His shoulder's stooped slightly.
And the Asgardians knew that he'd only survived this long with the worry of his loving wife.
Many worried that he wouldn't survive this.
What the Asgardians didn't know was that he himself had asked this question himself, holding his wife's hand before the funeral.
The two of them had always assumed he'd die first.
He'd always hoped that would be the way it would be.
Always known that Frigga was stronger than he was.
And though he was The All Father, he had no idea what he was going to do without that strength and love that had guided him throughout the centuries.
