It was a normal, cold day of Christmas shopping for the Teen Titans. They had just gotten out of Spencer's for Raven. (She had gone with Starfire to try "the French of fries". It took Robin and Beast Boy a minute to understand. They met up outside and were on their way to the car when they thought they saw a girl in an alley, muttering to herself. They are going to investigate.

(Robin's P.O.V)

"Wait a moment. Did you hear that?"

Beast Boy led them to a dark alley. Then he heard it. A soft muttering, definitely female. Raven apparently had experience in this; she volunteered to go check it out. "I don't know what it is; her energy just feels, familiar." She said, in her normal, bored voice. I followed her soundlessly, and she didn't bother to question me. We found the girl some way back in the alley. When we found her, it was too dark to see her, so Raven held up a bright purple ball of energy to light the alley up. The girl had caramel brown hair, and had on camouflage cargo pants with a tight-fitting white tank top on with black combat boots to top it off. All of her clothes were ripped and bloodied, as if she'd been fighting someone. Numerous cuts and scrapes lined her arms and showed through her pants, one large cut dangerously close to her neck. Raven stepped toward the girl and she twitched violently, looking up for a second. Her eyes were a stunning blue, gentle and protective, yet dared you to stare. A second later, inch long fangs sprouted from her mouth and she hissed. She stood up and spread 11 foot long wings. Raven and I stared in wonder for a moment. The girl staggered forth a couple of steps before a new wave of blood dripped from her chest wound. She immediately collapsed, curling back into the ball she was in a minute ago. I gave Raven a look, What do I do? Go talk to her, sheglared back. I slowly stepped to her. She twitched, her wings still spread behind her, wrapping around her like a barrier, but didn't dare to get up again. "You can turn me back into the scientists, I don't care. I just don't care anymore." The girl whispered. It was then I noticed she was crying. "No, we wouldn't do that. I'm Robin, and this is my teammate, Raven." He said, trying to comfort the girl. She looked up a moment and nodded acknowledgement. I asked her name. She took a moment before answering,"My name is Alexa. I think."

"Can we help you?" he asked.

"It hurts, it hurts…." She moaned.

Then she passed out of the asphalt.
