WITHOUT YOU
The Lone Wolf Journey
There were Dragons when I was a young boy, there were Dragons who held and possessed great and terrible colossal power. Like the burning midnight among the Tribes of the Archipelago, they all came in different shapes, colors and sizes. Strike Dragons who were fast ripping through the skies above and among the most intelligent, but that's not to say that all Dragons weren't smart. Sharp Dragons who were deadly by the point, whose instincts had risen sharply above the clouds. Fear Dragons who brought the cowardliness into the hearts of the fearless, for they were not to be mocked for. Tracker Dragons who knew that there is no place to hide for them, for they will know and find you one way or another. Stoker Dragons whose anger burns brighter than the Sun of Helios, and rains down the burning chaos upon their foes. Mystery Dragons who were shrouded behind the fog, and kept hidden for it was best that none of their foes should know their weaknesses for their own safety. Boulder Dragons who will crush the mighty men and women, who dared to come close. Tidal Dragons who were more than what the Sea can see, for they were the rulers like Poseidon, God of the Seas himself
They were all gone too soon, it was for the best as the notorious Dragon Hunters remained ever so genocidal where they would try and free their grip on Humankind and instead use their powers for granted; they were barbaric, ruthless and among the most infamous tribes that they have ever faced. Although now that they returned back from where they came in the home known as the legendary Hidden World, the Hunters would remain until all are left in extinction. I was that man who stopped them, the one who took down their reign over all of the Archipelago. Many years have passed since then, I had no place among my old home for those were the remnants of Hiccup Horrendous Haddock III. But there is one Dragon, the most feared one, the most powerful one of them all: the Night Fury. Hunted down by the ever so deadly but now late Grimmel the Grisly, he sought to kill all Dragons and send them to extinction as he refused all alternate ideas for trapping and existence; imprisonment and extinction is the only thing that he would accept. The Dragons who have now returned and reside within The Hidden World is under my protection from all Dragon Hunters, but the departure of my own brother: Toothless, has made me suffer the loneliness that continues to haunt me to this day. But in the end of all the adventures I've had with him, our bond will not be severed, not even by the ones who have made attempt after another on either of our lives. The end begins, for them and all who are lost to us
Always remember this, for the Dragons have disappeared for reasons justified of my own. It is for the best that they have done so. I may not go by my former identity for the adventure is all over and all Dragon Hunters have no way of driving them to extinction now for they are now kept out of their reach and out of their filthy hands, I cannot change myself for them and my own cause. I am their hero, I am their leader and finally, I am their Legendary Dragon Rider whom they call me Prince. I am Drayko Ryder, the Slayer of Red Death, the Prince of Exiled Legends and the Unspeakable Phantom of Plasma and Death Sentences. I and Toothless would always be there to defend not only them, but you as well... my son
In the deep, Fall and Winter shrouded, mountainous woods of Scandinavia from where Vikings had come from before losing their mainland to their most hated enemies. There lied a large two story house atop of an medium hill, where the pathway was had log steps implanted into the smooth but step pathway upwards with an large pond right by the house on the left side; there was an waterslide formed from ever lasting ice of the Snow Wraith that was made, and there two waterwheels on both sides that turned counter clockwise. This House had steam coming from the fire and black fogging chimney, it was an 25 to 40 foot wide house designed in the ancient Nordic style as the front entrance was double doors and reinforced. Next to them as two pillars carved with runes that matched the sign above that the thickened Norse Omega symbol of the Frostheart Axe built and attached onto the front. There were also windows that opened from the sides and gave out service to those who wanted their weapons, armor and tools rebuilt quickly for this was an Blacksmith Forge. "Chainsmoke and Brimstone Brother's Blacksmithery" was the name and has been "Using the fires of Muspelheim since the Dark Ages of The Draconia Wars" Finally, the entire Blacksmith Forge was made from many different woods being Blackthorn, Ebony, African Blackwood, Great Dark Oak and Dark Chestnut to wistand anything that Ragnarok throws at them
Móðólfurkló (Fearless Wolfclaw/talon) wore a inverted bell shaped mask with an studded metal strip on the top edge and with another going down on the middle, becoming a T-Shape. Made of Ebony and Dark Oak wood, this mask also sported an solemn looking face to signify it's silent and lonesome endeavor. He was an teenager and wore not only a wolf headdress, but an Volcanripper Metal chestplate with long fur gauntlets, boots and an kilt that opened up in the front. He had two straps that went across and formed a "X" shape that held his quiver and his clothing was adorned with an feral wilderness such as the fangs of the animal. He had strong and reinforced leather wrappings everywhere on his pants that acted like belt of sorts, with Dragon Scales being apart of his clothing of course. He was not without the spiked shoulder guards that reminded his father of the late Viggo Grimborn. There happened to be an black and emerald green vambrace in the latter's darkest contrast clearly inspired by Drayko's meeting with Loki, the God of Tricksters and Destruction. The design carved into them was obviously based off of both Fenrir and Jormungandr, with Slepnir's speeding winds blowing through them along with Skoll and Hati, along with Freki as well; the vambrace happened to have Rashaka's fur layered below to keep him warm. When active, the two sides flipped vertically and extend into an half crescent moon position before fully closing in completely. Now it was like this...
It was an large round shield made of Volcanripper Metal, the disk being half black and half dark emerald in the darkest contrast with four thick strips that all have their Nordic carvings like the Vikings always like to design with; eight other smooth and slightly slimmed dark velvet emerald pillars had two others located diagonally next to the strips, the horizontal ones were small and had avian talons engraved to them. The vertical ones were more detailed as they were going outward with "X" crossed crescent shapes at the end, all while having that snake scale ribbed edges to them with sharp silver fangs that were stained with the blood of all who come to slay such a serpent among beasts. The rest of the Disk had Jormungandr's scales combined with Toothless' and his father's Volcanripper, Chainsmoke and Brimstone. The Rivet mostly had Nordic serpents and wolves carved into them while the four of the edges' space had been taken by the thick strips on the Disk, but although the diagonal strips were smoothed; they're were given some Tribal markings of wind based off from the Unknown Fugitive's cloak, with the inner Rivet having Norse Rune carved Egyptian obelisk shaped edges and the runes spelling out "Hallvardur" translating to "Rock Defender" as it was just like both rocks and Dragon Scales. The Boss had black split egyptian obelisk edges around the center while it sported the same "Omega/Libra" symbol of the Frostheart Axe, which this Shield can be thrown and recalled back to the owner's vambrace at anytime. The Norse Omega symbol also used for his Blacksmith Forge was painted onto the front Shield in the Darkblood of the Dragons, mainly Toothless/Chainsmoke and Brimstone's Darkblood
Móðólfurkló was digging through the heavy snow piles with his bare hands looking for some Lost Toys as he always did in his free time; he did happened to find a black and white stallion with armor and warpaint, an figure of a Knight like warrior and an devilish monstrous beast so far last time; what he did find this time around was archer and a serpent like beast. "Boy..." A voice called out, he was too distracted and finding other Lost Toys to hear him; to which the voice called out once again but louder and clearer than before,"Boy!" That caught his attention as he looked back and nodded before heading up the steps. Calling over his little otter companion whom he named Jerobas, onto his shoulder. Jerobas was an adult otter with dark chestnut brown colored fur and an sugar cookie tan to cream white underbelly that went all the way up to his tail, he also liked standing bipedally as it was an habit of his but always hid in fear of any bloody fight that was about break out. He entered the household and closed the doors behind him
Inside was really spacious for a Blacksmith Forge, there was the usual stone round fire-pit along with the large anvil and workbench for them both; tool-board and sets of suits with their weapons. Not to mention some weapons were being hung and there were also chained signs hanging that directed to the different sections. Even then, it still functioned like a house with shelves for items housing items and hunting equipment as on the floor was drawn like a Omega Primal Night Fury with the three sons of Loki, the God of Fire and Tricksters himself being depicted alongside Skoll and Hati with the Sun and Moon being chased. Although there was fire acting like light sources, the Blacksmith Forge was still no doubt dark as hell inside which was fitting since the Blacksmith himself is very shrousive about his past; there was even an monstrous polar bear rug laid out with an door to the forbidden cellar beneath that he told him not to ever go down there without his warning. It was then that the voice asked him
"Your knife pup, take with it you from now on. It's now yours to carry as your mother once carried before I took custody of you" He took the knife given to him which looked like this: it was an serrated double edged knife made from Volcanripper Metal of course, wrapped with strong black leather for the handle and was unusally long which was normal for since he did like to bend and twist the rules of making weapons his own way. "I taught you to hunt, yeah?"
"Of course you did, Father. The Call of the Wilds helped me out there" Móðólfurkló replied, remembering the times he went on hunts with his Father. He always did the killing and brought back the food from their trips with Rashaka, that dire wolf is always having him and Jerobas on the edge due to him always being fearsome. He even barked and threatened him if he dared tell anyone about him showing the slightest fragment of fear, which of course was not the case since it was a misunderstanding. This did not make a difference with his father as Rashaka always showed nothing but an striking image to inspire fierce bravery in others
"Then show the both of us what you have learned..." The voice threw an bow over to him
This Bow appeared to have been made from half of a tusk from a Bewilderbeast, the Black King to be exact, and mostly from the vicious Dragon murdering Deathgrippers, according to what heard Viggo say after killing the traitorous secret spilling Brimlad. It was heavily designed with Volcanripper Metal as the front Risers were decorated with two black Dragon heads that had sharp golden fangs and dark silver scales, it's claws stuck out to the back and was positioned more upward against the lower and upper Limbs. It was based off of an Armored Dragon by the likes of it, with some similar traits and appearences to that of an Raven. The main jewels used for the eyes and reflective paint were Emeralds as there were two pronged Berserker spear tips on the bottom and top meant for close combat perhaps, there's always one way to find out; while the shape was mostly designed like a "D" and even a crescent. It was heavy in terms of combat but light when held and used, it was all black and given some dark emerald engravings of Loki himself. The string was tight and had the feathers of an Raven layered within to give the Bow it's speed, with some Norse Runes engraved deeply in the Dragon's Darkblood that spelled out "Razorsilence" Finally, it can be modified easily into a Crossbow
"Who's are target today?" He asked
"Our food is scarce thanks to the sacrifice we made for that traveler a week ago, what you are hunting is of your own choice. You will feed us, feed our family together" The voice informed him
"I understand, Father" Móðólfurkló nodded, placing the Razorsilence Bow diagonally across his chest with his quiver
"Then let us hunt together, as father and son. Móðólfurkló, my young pup" The voice calmly declared as he stepped out of the shadows to reveal none other than Drayko Ryder himself, his appearance had definitely changed the last time he was seen; mirroring what Stoick wanted his son to be like, but with his own additions to the mix: Long dark auburn tinted black to grey hair with long bangs in front of his face, thick and smoothly combed but spiked downwards on all sides; his dark forest green eyes still had the hot and burning smoldering ashes that continued to burn his face to this day with fire and brimstone added in to the mix, still sporting the dark, purplish wound all around as a sign of brusing and with yellow flesh seen. His forehead was still streaming down with liquid blood on his entire face with some bloodied cut scars on some parts of his face, although now he still had the two scars from the Black King's claws that were blasted off but grew back overtime
His long dark auburn beard covered his cheeks completely and went across both the upper and lower part of his ears that were covered by his hair, it wasn't patchy but instead it was an full beard. Went over his limp smoothly with the edges going diagonally upward a straight line afterwards, it was combed downwards and straight with no exceptions; the bottom edges having it's own sharp pointed bangs that went slightly curled outward on the sides while it remained down on the front; he also sported an long and thinned out but slightly thick fu manchu that split into dual prongs like the pitchfork of Hades, and was also combed downwards as it went to his lips like sharp pointed bangs. It went down to his chest but was no less short enough to not negate the fiery protection that Ruffnut and Tuffnut's Dragon Scale armor did, they had learned the hard way in the Fall of Berk
His upper clothing he now wore consisted of twin Muspelheim and Volcanripper/Omega Primal Night Fury inspired shoulder guards that were decorative and ornate with soft, long and thick fur from his dire wolf, Rashaka. They mostly consisted of an upper body chestplate that was diagonally pointed upwards and had curled ram horns designed like an Amphisbaena, though it was more Norse like with two extra layers for protection while also sporting three bloodied fangs that were curled inwards towards his still exposed upper chest with two thick armored straps that crossed into an X-shape. His shoulder guards were layered nine times, beaked downwards like always and were designed after both the volcanic fiery realm of Muspelheim and his Primal Omega Night Fury, Toothless. His bracers and gauntlets were heavily armored as well with both of them featuring three long and tall but blunt flanges that was usually seen on a Mace. He sported a long war belt with an thick Spartan straps that went down to his knees, designed after his Blacksmith Forge for they had all the basic and necessary tools for being a Blacksmith; not to mention like all parts of his armor, they were layered with Rashaka's fur to keep him warm like Fenrir himself. His same boots he always wore and used had the same wolf's long, thick and warm fur around the cuffs of his armored boots; with chains to keep them strapped on at all times. The middle of the warbelt happened to be an armored loincloth with it's bottom curved upward like an crescent consisting of four segments, the fourth one being the smallest and pointed down like an arrow; all edged and with an embossed steel diamond pattern that was raised. He had black Dragon scaled pants that was reinforced with Volcanripper Metal underneath like any armor he wears. His Frostheart Axe was also thicker and bigger for his age, but no less lighter as it was strengthened by Toothless' Plasma Bolt, it also now hung from his back on a hook shaped like the Frostheart Axe symbol he's using for the Norse version of the Omega letter; which was also the front buckle for his war-belt. He's occasionally seen wearing an wolf fur cape that matched his old one when he returned to Berk as "Hiccup" but was more suede and combed downwards. His muscled chest may still have been exposed, but it was not too exposed for he is a formidable fighter in his age
"Now, be on your way; the sun is only beginning to rise and we may not have a second chance until the next day to murder our prey before they know too late that we've come for them" He exited out of the door first, followed by his masked son who went down the steps and took the path to the South since this was his first hunt where he decides his next move. Just like in the nameless game he based off ideas from Maces and Talons
The huge area around them was secluded like the Cove that he and Toothless used to spend their days together, it was surrounded by snow covered rocks and leaf covered pathways as there were tall trees reaching for the skies; all of them had chained weighing scale platform like lanterns that hung from the poles that stuck out and was bolted on. The House also had this and sported some lanterns posted to light the building outside, the pathway not only had ruined Volcanripper Metal weapons stabbed into the ground like a battlefield outside with torn flags swaying in the wind, but also had hanging posts scattered to light the path in case they need to go out at night. The thick and deep woods of the forest that they lived in covered most of the sky and on the left to their house was an river with an little waterfall that went down like a flight of stairs, while the front featured an ruined statue of Loki and his sons: Fenrir, Jormungandr, Sleipnir, Skoll and Hati with the God of Tricksters himself holding his staff high and wielding his sword to the sun and moon cycle. Of course it had black smoke coming from both sides, there was some ripped banners that also swayed in the wind with some fallen trees
Móðólfurkló hopped across the smooth and flat stone steps along the running shallow river, a bow in hand and a shield in another acting as an vambrace to his right to be used for throwing. He trekked through his and Drayko's deep seasonal thicket of a hunter's forest with his father following behind every step of the way, keeping track of his son's hunt as he wants to experience the hardships that followed. During their path where there were leaves of Fall fell and landed softly on the ground, Móðólfurkló bent down and saw the footprints of an Deer imprinted onto the ground for he knew that this was nearby; "They're still fresh, it's gone off this way!" he continued on ahead with his father following from a distance away, he knew that he always had something on his mind that he didn't seem to be telling him about
Drayko knew what his boy was thinking and it was clear that he did not tell him everything, for he knew that in the words of Grimmel the Grisly himself who he had beaten down to a bloody death in his hands that the cycle ends here. He didn't want Móðólfurkló to suffer in his past full of dreadfulness, hatred, madness, shadow, shade, war and fear altogether; he doesn't want to be overprotective but neither does he want to end up being just like Stoick, so it has come to this in raising his son and apprentice like his own three children. It has been that long since his departure from Toothless that he's been forced to be on the run from the surviving remnants of the Dragon Hunters, the path before him was clear but neither Snotbitch nor the Dragon Hunters of the late warlord Drago Bludvist would not leave him alone. He was taken out of his thoughts when Móðólfurkló spotted the Deer
"There it is" He spoke calmly as he held his bow, ready to strike at the unsuspecting Deer
"Hold!" He attempted to warn him, but the Deer saw the two Hunters and was startled when Móðólfurkló fired away; this only happened due to Móðólfurkló being distracted by Jerobas' impatience. Drayko immediately growled and snarled at his son as he called Rashaka over to his side and came over to him, taking the Razorsilence Bow from him. "What in the hell are you doing?! Now it's defenses are up, you are hunting them not chasing them like savage predators! Only fire when-" His rage steamed out of him with frustration at the young teen, but he would not let himself resort to the hellish tactics that Stoick used on him
"Only fire when I tell you to fire on my command..." He spoke more calmly, but still angry and bitter as the very departure of his brother made it hard for him to seek out the guidence of Serena and the Water Wyverns for they knew what was right for him. Móðólfurkló had witnessed his father's rage before and then, Jerobas was always terrified of the Blacksmith and was the main reason why he didn't want to be seen anywhere near him. It was one such fear that he could not conquer
"You don't have to yell at me just because I made a mistake" He turned his head away from him in shame
"I do not yell at you, and that was not a mistake you made. Focus can be a weapon, use it at your heart's disposal. You clearly can not hold on my command. Now, find it" He ordered calmly, Móðólfurkló was going to take back his bow until his father stood up and hung it on his back; steaming and feeling like he was going to scream at him again. "Find... It!" He growled as Rashaka did the same, Móðólfurkló's response was cursing at him in Old Norse before heading off with his Father following in his footsteps
They were continuing their Hunt for the Deer and trekking deeper into their own territory with Móðólfurkló wondering to himself if his father was disappointed with his lack of focus on his first ever hunting trip where he is hunting the prey this time around. He's sure that there's something to make him happy, but he can't dare himself to ask what makes him feel that way. He doesn't even want to try and ask him, he'll get yelled at anyways since his father is looking for one of his own image; or is it? He mentioned very little about his grandfather, saying that he was an total dickish asshole. It's very private to him like he's suffering a awful childhood that he doesn't want him to suffer. He continued thinking these thoughts until what appeared to Draugar of deceased thieves and robbers jumped out to ambush the two of them. These foul undead warriors who have fallen in battle refused the aid of Valkryies in anger and thus roamed Scandinavia like restless husks thanks to their desire for revenge. These Draugar were skeletal husks with rotten meat covered in mud, weapons, volcanic fires, aged armor, leaves, seaweed and fueled with the dark negative emotions these monsters possessed in them
Some medium sized boars had also joined in the fight for they wanted to kill these Hunters and be left in peace. "Damn Draugr, father I hope you can spare a-" Móðólfurkló started but was interrupted
"No, you are not ready. Stand back, I shall take on thy foe!" He brought his Frostheart Axe into a combat stature and began slashing through the volcanic flesh of the Draugar, slicing the rotten pieces of flesh away and hacking off the limbs before using his bare hands to tear one apart gruesomely. He threw his Axe towards two of them and pinned them to the wall, instantly killing them and sending them into a well deserved rest
Móðólfurkló decided that there was no other choice but to defy his Father and used his Hunting Knife to slash across the Draugr's chest, he jumped onto one and proceeded to stab into it's throat; slitting it and stab another one in the eye before kicking them both away. Jerobas was hiding in fear of these undead but did not hesitate help out his friend with Rashaka tackling the restless warriors. The boars on the other hand rammed into the four of them before Drayko grabbed one by the tusks and painfully shouting before ripping them both off and stabbing both eyes out; blinding and killing with a single punch to the gut. The boars were no match for Rashaka's sheer size for a dire wolf as he bit down with his fangs and mauled another Draugr to the ground. Soon only the boar was left for Rashaka pounced onto the territorial animal and ripped it to shreads, consuming it's meat afterwards. Once the battle was done for, they continued onwards with Drayko stroking Rashaka's back; making Móðólfurkló very strained about his relationship with his father's pet wolf
"Rashaka, good boy for helping out. Rashaka, discipline with me at your son. The only time he ever wants to interact with me is when he's treating me like a unwelcomed stranger"
"Do you have something to say?" Drayko asked, hearing his thoughts about his wolf
"Yeah, I do have something to say. The only time Rashaka wants to interact with me is when he wants me to be like you. Tall, muscled, formidable-"
"That is what your grandfather wants you to be like, I do not on the behalf of your grandmother. You on the other hand have not tried your damnest to the full attempt to develop a relationship with Rashaka, you will learn in the time we return home that you will bond with him; so you can feel the same as I did with... your new uncle and the one I consider my real father"
"Toothless? But there's a phrase stating that if you really love somebody, you'd let them go"
"Keep moving, that phrase means no shit to one such as I. Stoick will never be apart of the family and he never was in the beginning, he has no redemption for his crimes" He ended the conversation quickly for he did not want to continue having to live through the departure of his brother. Móðólfurkló understood and decided to keep his focus on what's ahead, now transversing through an stone structure that appeared to be a shrine for Dramur, the God of Dreams and brother to Nott. The natives of Scandinavia constantly vandalize and desecrate this place for they claim that there is no Norse counterpart to Morpheus, the God of Dreams in Greek Mythology
(A/N: Which is true since Morpheus is the only God of Dreams, but it's fucking FanFiction. In God of War 2005, Athens with it's weak military and horrible Goddess Athena has it's own Oracle rather than just one which was the Oracle of Delphi. In Crusaders of the 5th Age, Sparta has their own Oracle as well, every city as their own just in case the one Delphi is unavailable; smart move by the Gods of Olympus right? Well it turns out that there are many Oracles, the one in Delphi is the one who gets the most press)
Taking the steps up on and along the stone wall bridge, the father and young pup had made their path across and were just about to make it to the other end of the stone bridge until more monstrous beasts appeared before them. Before they could fight any of them however, an Golem-Half Giant grabbed Drayko and slammed him towards the icy ground of the large river leading down to the giant waterfall below, speaking in it's own native tongue that translated to: "You Midgardians will not cross over to the Halls of Valhalla with the Valkyries!"
This hybrid was an monstrous beast as it sported three upwards curved ram horn like tusks protruding from it's sides on the heads and on it's chin. It had magma stone like armor as if it was attached to it's skin with the rotten bony flesh of the Draugr and rage of Surtr empowering it as if he blessed this creature. It's weapon of choice was an heavy square shaped stone pillar with glowing runes written all over that acted like it's main source of power. This beast also wore tribal clothing and was covered with tattoos all over it's skin. Finally, the Giant was the size of an 10m high Egypatain Obelisk. Drayko kicked the Giant in the face and threw the Razorsilence Bow to Móðólfurkló. "This is your chance, bring down this abomination!"
"Yes Father!"
The monster held it's weapon upon it's shoulder and roared in the faces of both the father and the son with the Hunting Wolf standing defensively in front of Drayko and Móðólfurkló. The Giant threw a punch towards Drayko, who sprinted up and began swinging his Frostheart Axe against it's leg while Móðólfurkló fired his arrows towards it from a distance; the Giant stomped and smashed Drayko's face by using it's pillar as a battery ram, Rashaka leaped towards it's chest before clawing and biting before jumping back to his owner. The Giant had then raised it's magma dripping foot and stomped once again before grabbing it's pillar by the and smashing the ice with it. Roaring in anger, it charged forward towards Drayko and tried to smash him to which he dodged and continued slashing his foot. Like before it tried to stomp on him with it's bare magma dripping foot and used it's pillar to summon bits of lava in it's hand to scatter across and burn him alive. Móðólfurkló continued to fire his arrows as Rashaka grabbed an nearby tree branch and smacked the Giant with it's strength due to being a Direwolf
Drayko used his Frostheart Axe to spin like a buzzsaw and smash the icy ground below them before throwing it towards the Giant's head, Rashaka leaped onto it's back and dug it's fangs deeper into it's head. The Giant screamed as if it was being defeated before flying into a uncontrollable rage, smacking Drayko away before uppercutting him with it's pillar and smashing the ice multiple times to break it as it glowed in a furious orange color with cracks and a fiery yellow sun color on the large symbol that was carved. Rashaka jumped off and smashed it's face in with another stone before stabbing it's eye out, this only made the Giant even angrier than before as it now tried to break the ice even more. "It is time, I will bring down this monster while you kill it!" Móðólfurkló understood and so began the ultimate takedown. Drayko stood his ground and focused, mastering all of the dreadfulness, hatred, madness, shadow, shade, war, fear, anger and passion in himself into power as his birthmark glowed and he gave out a bellowing but fear inspiring Roar of the Skies before charging towards the monsterous Giant
The Giant swung it's pillar around itself as if to stop the father from coming anywhere close to him, but Drayko stepped upward and jumped before unleashing the hellish power of his Brother's Rage onto this beastly attacker; uppercutting and ramming into it's head as he shatter it's tusk off as the Giant roared in anger and pain. Drayko did not stop as he delivered a hammering punch into it's face and stabbed out it's other eye with his Frostheart Axe, once again spinning it in his hands as he throws it and redirects into the Giant's chest as Rashaka the Direwolf pounced on such monstrous creature. To add the final blow, he used his Frostheart Axe to grab the pillar and stab it's back to the ground before smashing his other tusk along with it's head; he now held it's neck with his fearsome claws as he gave his order to his son. "Now Móðólfurkló!"
He ordered as the teenage boy transformed his bow into a crossbow while throwing his shield to further stab into it's face, the Giant gave one last pound to the ground with it's giant fist; causing Móðólfurkló to misfire and shoot his father's scars that he received from the claws of Drago's Bewilderbeast, known to him, the Knights and Draconia as the Black King. Drayko instead ignored the agonizing pain and screamed at him just as the once ice encased river to waterfall was beginning to shatter,"Get off the Ice, now!" He stabbed the Giant's brain and immediately killed it, but not before it threw a sharp chunk at Móðólfurkló to whom Rashaka took the hit and grabbed the teen with it's fangs to the other side. Drayko ran and jumped across the frozen stones before finally reaching the end, the ice behind them finally broke off and away as the once frozen river to waterfall was now running again in a rapid session
Drayko, Móðólfurkló and Rashaka were all breathing heavily from that fight as the Direwolf licked Drayko's wounds first before tending to his son's and his own. He then removed the arrow shot into his scar and turned to his son, who was ashamed for shooting his own father; to which Drayko ignored him, for he would not hear it and only replied with this: "Do not let that Deer escape, my young pup" He responded calmly as they continued forth on the path of the Deer, their Hunt was almost over as they now trekked under the ridge and into a campsite. As the corpse of the Giant was washed away, Móðólfurkló summoned the Liberation's Dell Shield back to his arm and had it retract back to it's original position as a vambrace
"Hope that Odin's Ravens don't tell him, otherwise us and Loki will have to kill them both"
"Stoick hates Loki, Móðólfurkló. Have I taught you nothing?"
"You did teach me to Hunt, but I never killed anything. You always did that and you're always going off alone by yourself"
"Then is time that you learn the experience"
They walked for another hour through the campsite before traversing upwards on the snowy pathway before them, passing by some rocky walls and reaching the cliff where the Deer was, unaware of their presence yet again as it fed off the warm grass. Móðólfurkló immediately had his crossbow changed back into an actual bow, now awaiting the command of his father while Jerobas was restrained and silenced by Rashaka. "Hold on my command, breath in and release" He instructed silently as he did just that, pointing directly at the Deer's lower jaw and through the spine; focusing all his lessons taught by him thanks to his father as they now went into the single Volcanripper Metal arrow that he held, before then he released it
It sailed through the air fast like a bullet shot from a Sniper Rifle and struck down the Deer; but because of this, the Deer was paralyzed and fell over to it's side. Móðólfurkló jumped down with Jerobas on his shoulder as Drayko and Rashaka followed behind, jumping down and stepping onto the fallen tree branch before leaping off as he landed behind him. Móðólfurkló brought out his knife and Drayko gave him this order; "It's time you finish what you've began" He knew what he was saying and tempted to slit it's throat, but the Deer was looking into him and begging for mercy due to the yelping and groaning; breathing heavily like an human being. But The Call of the Wilds had taught him to not think of their hunted prey as animals, but rather as the Most Wanted that all thrive to claim for a reward
He stabbed the animal but let go, Drayko helped him stab deeper into's throat and slit it smoothly so that the Deer can finally be put out of it's misery. The bloody squirted and sprayed onto both of them as the Deer finally died in it's new grave, Móðólfurkló was relieved but felt like he disappointed his father due to his lack of focus and defiance against his orders. Drayko thought otherwise as he grabbed the knife and gave it back to him, now proclaiming this to his son; "Now, you are ready... my young pup. Móðólfurkló" From there on out, they watched the morning sun rise
"I understand fa- Drayko, but what am I truly ready for?" He asked, calling his father by his real name and understanding that he was taken in custody by him. Still, he was like a real father figure to him as Drayko responded
"The Roar of the Wilds..." He removed his mask and headdress to reveal an ash covered and concealed Svartalfheim Native with long pointy ears, dark maroon eyes, long silvery white hair and excellent marksmanship. As both father and son watch on with Rashaka by Drayko and Jerobas by Móðólfurkló, a thunderous raging tempest of a storm cracks violently in the distance with the treacherous dark fog filled mountains and ruined structures standing out before them. Countless Villages smoked with activity with the burning hot sun blazing it's rays upon them all in the morning day, native fauna frolicked around aimlessly while monsters dwelled on the solid foundation of Midgard. A great sea lake glimmered and shined in the distance while the clouds formed a spinning cyclone of a vortex in the skies, trees swayed in the blowing wind. Beasts of Midgard called this place, Scandinavia home; but to Drayko, Móðólfurkló, Rashaka and Jerobas they called this place their Hunter's Woods for the Call and Roar of the Wilds. For this was no longer the silence that greeted them every morning, there was much more to it than that. It was the Shadow of the Night Fury, Toothless that now roamed among wherever the land and skies take Drayko in order to ease the loneliness of his own Self-Exiled Journey. To break away from the departure of his beloved brother, and it was one that was so rightfully named to find the courage to let go of everything that conflicted within him. It was known to him as:
The Lone Wolf Journey
Roar of the Wilds
As you can figure out by now, this was based off the God of War IV: A New Beginning E3 Trailer but in my own way. This is a idea that happens when Drayko and Toothless make their final departure as the former leaves by himself to return to the Archipelago while the latter goes with the Light Fury to The Hidden World as he needs someone to love after what had happened to Aythro. This Idea is also based on The Incredible Hulk 1978 Series due to the fact that Drayko is going to different places to avoid the Hunters following him, but this also means that it focuses on what The Hidden World is about: Finding the Courage to Let Go. But here there's another symbolic meaning, Drayko must conquer the hatred of the ghosts of Stoick the Vast, Drago Bludvist and Grimmel the Grisly who continue to haunt and harass him
You may be skimming over my Knights of the Dragon Riders stories because you simply do not give a shit about my take on the story of Hiccup Running Away, but I've made it much more than that here as I've really gotten myself into this dream I based the stories off of. I thought I just post this because I wanted to give you a foresight on what it will be like for Drayko and Toothless to depart from each other, just like how Hiccup and Toothless must separate from each other due to the threat of Grimmel and The Hidden World calling for the rightful Alpha among them. Night Furies will be saved and no matter what the fans will tell you, they are all idiots because the surviving remnant of the Night Furies will prevail in the end; I should also warn you that if you purchase any of the books of Amazon based on HTTYD 3: The Hidden World, you are bound to suffer the major spoilers because I saw them on the Wiki before they were taken down. If you see any of them, ERASE THEM FROM YOUR MIND AND FORGET WHAT YOU SAW; understand? Oh and by the way... the name for Toothless' and the Light Fury's hatchlings have one of the worst and most stupidest names ever, that what I can tell you
About this little story, it's a sorrowful tale but the ending means that there is a undying hope that it will turn out alright in the end. Although Drayko and Toothless have been separated for justified reasons, you shall know this when I tell you: Neither Drayko nor Toothless are happy with the rightful decision that has been made, for what reason you may ask? The scars of the past... that is all that needs to be said
For now, they will meet again; as Drayko and Toothless shall return...
