A few minutes later…

"Okay, Banzai. You stick to the right while me and Ed are on the left side, understand?" Shenzi asked. Banzai and Ed nodded and the chase was on…

Shortly…

Banzai walked home after the hunt with his friends and turned to his favorite rock where he always rested after he had been hunting.

"Nothin' can be better than a good nap." Banzai thought to himself. Suddenly, he saw Raki sitting down near the rock, looking very gloomy.

Banzai was confused. How could he be sad? He hadn't been sad before. Why would he be that now? Maybe it will be the best to just let it just pass and he will be as happy as he usually is.

But this time, Raki didn't seem to be happy at all. Banzai, on the other hand, laid down on the rock and began to sleep. Raki just sat there, keeping his gaze onto the ground.

When he glanced over to Banzai, who was now sleeping deeply, felt that the bad feeling inside began to hurt him even more. The lump in his throat felt even bigger, and he was starting to feel sick. The sadness took its grip around him and pushed him into even deeper greif.

He tried hardly to keep the tears from running down his cheeks. The feeling of loneliness came back yet again and cursed him with more of the horrible feeling.

He saw that Shenzi and Ed had already been eating on the zebra carcass they had caught earlier. Now, they were also sleeping, unlike Banzai, they were snoozing in the cave instead of the rock that Banzai laid on.

Maybe he should try to sleep to, but was too sad to feel tired. The tears that he was fighting to hold back, came pouring down his face. The sobbings were quiet and low, but filled with pain and sorrow.

Unfortunately, they weren't low enough for Banzai to hear. Waking up, his eyes shifted to Raki to see what was going on. Seeing that his little brother was really upset, he got up on his four paws, stretched a little and yawned, before he walked over to the sad hyena.

When Banzai was close enough to make sure he got Raki's attention. Raki just looked at him through tearful eyes.

"Hey man, what's wrong? You okay?" Banzai asked. Raki nodded and swallowed the lump in his throat. Then, he lost the fight of holding back his tears, but it just came a few teardrops who ran down his cheek.

"I just feel a little sad today, but I don't know why." Raki said as he tried his best to speak. Banzai nodded understandingly.

"Do you wanna go on a stroll? Just you ''n' me?" Banzai asked again.

Raki took first out his paw as if he wanted to get a hug, but quickly dragged it back again as he realized that Banzai hated hugs.

"You don't do hugs, don't you?" Raki asked sadly.

Banzai sighed to himself and pretend to think.

"Well…" he began to say.

Suddenly, Banzai leaned closer to his brother and wrapped his arm around Raki's back and gave a meekly nuzzle.

"That's true, but for once there are some exceptions." Banzai continued.

Raki smiled in delight as he felt his big brother's warm body nudging his own.

"That wasn't so hard, wasn't it?" Raki thought secretly to himself, looking up at the sky, thinking of he and Banzai best friends, forever.
