a/n: This is a little holiday story I wrote a few years back but never got around to posting. Well, I hope you like it. Of course, I own nothing as that right belongs to the fabulous J.K Rowling. Please R&R.
Memories of Times Long Ago
Remus Lupin looked out his office window of Hogwarts at the falling snow and the students down in the courtyard playing in the fresh powder. Looking out at all his students having fun, his mind wandered back to a simpler time, a happier time. A time when anything bad happened, it could be made better by eating chocolate frogs and laughing with his three friends.
It was the winter of their seventh and final year at Hogwarts. The four friends were enjoying their last Hogsmeade weekend before the Christmas holidays started. James had just ended his first date with Lily Evans and was in extremely high spirits as the group walked down the main street of the village. Just as the group passed the door to The Three Broomsticks, Sirius stepped on a patch of black ice. His feet went flying out from under him and he grabbed James and Remus' shoulders for support. In the process causing Remus to drop half his box of chocolates on the snow-covered ground. Also instead of keeping Sirius from falling to the ground, he had managed to pull James and Remus and Peter – James had grabbed on to him once he realized he was falling – and they all fell into a snow bank outside the pub. Laughing and throwing snow at each other they got up and went into The Three Broomsticks for a butterbeer, before heading back to the castle.
Remus smiled and laughed to himself at the memory that seemed a lifetime ago. Wishing he could see his friends again. Wishing that he could once again see the man that resembled his third-year student, Harry, so much.
The End
From my heart to your's, Happy Christmas, I hope it's magical.
