Dipper's body felt worn and sore. The leftover stinging pain of forks stabbing into his arms and the stiff falling down the stairs wracked him with pain. Bill, the dream demon, had possessed him, and the sadistic creature gave his body into pain. After that incident, Dipper was confined to his bed, with some bandages here and there. He hadn't explained what had happened to him to Grunkle Stan or Mabel, and he didn't know if that made the situation better or worse.
"Hey, bro! Felling a little better?"
Speaking of Mabel…
"Nope, still sore all over," Dipper replied as his sister kneeled next to him on the side of the bed. In her hands she had a cup of pink ice-cream with a Spork sticking out of it. Next to her was another cup.
"Are you okay enough to have some ice cream?" She cheering, brandishing the second cup above Dipper. Mabel then put the ice cream cup onto Dipper's lap as he slowly and carefully leaned against the head of the bed. Dipper groaned and took a bite of the ice cream.
"…." Mabel just sat there, strangely silent, as if thinking of something to say. "I…I went out to the fair to get his ice cream," Mabel said, "I only brought five bucks. Thankfully, I got some change!"
Dipper smiled. Even though his sister could put her needs before his sometimes, when he was in trouble, she would do her best to help. "Were your friends there?" he asked.
"No, they weren't," Mabel sighed, "but Pacifica was. She did the usual, only this time I bombed her!" Mabel triumphed.
"Really?" Dipper hasped.
"Mmhmm! She was all 'wow Mabel, looking as great as ever. If you count great being absolutely horrible' and then I told her to step off, because I actually have enough feelings in my heart to care about people other than myself!" Mabel declared. "The look on her face was priceless! I bet she was glad her 'friends' weren't there, or else she'll probably have to pay them more to make 'em stay!" Mabel laughed.
Dipper mood had escalated hearing his sister's story. He hadn't told her, maybe he should. He should tell her why he was Bipper. Why Bill had taken over his body. Why he had been so easily fooled by the tricky demon.
"Dipper, I love you," Mabel said, and then proceeded to kiss him on the forehead.
"You're the best, you know that? I hope you get better real soon." With one last look at him, Mabel went back down the stairs of the attic.
Okay, maybe why everything had been crashing down that day would wait.
"I love you to, Mabes."
But it didn't take those words to know how much he loved his dear sister so.
Blaaaarg this can be read as sisterly and brotherly instead of Pincest because I suck at writing this stuff ughughghg
