A.N. This takes place when Astrid is running off to tell the village about Toothless and is kidnapped by the two in order to show her why he befriended the dragon.

Astrid was completely shocked as they took off into the sky with a huge WOOSH!!! She screamed as she began sliding off with the force that the Night fury was shooting into the sky. She desperately wrapped her legs and arms around Hiccup so she wouldn't fall off and clung to him for dear life. She was thrown this way and that, while Hiccup yelled at him saying, "No Toothless, we need her to like us." As he span around and around before diving down, plummeting towards the water.

"Alright! I'm sorry." She said as she berried her head into Hiccup's back. Suddenly Toothless levelled out and as Astrid slowly removed her head from Hiccup's shoulder, she was the majesty of what she was witnessing. The beauty of it all was staggering and she didn't know how to take it all in. Astrid smiled as she wrapped her arms around Hiccup's torso while he gasped silently before relaxing. As they soared up into the heavens, she reached up and, letting go with one arm from around Hiccup, touched the clouds as was amazed by the feeling she was experiencing. As they did a soft loop the loop, they were greeted by the night sky that was accompanied by an aurora. The teens gasped as they saw what was in front of them. Astrid rewrapped her arms around Hiccup's belly as they headed back down to Burk. The sight was amazing as the lights in the town were lit and she was shocked at just how tiny it looked from where they were.

"I have to admit. This is pretty cool." As she said it, Toothless looked back at her and grinned his toothy grin. Astrid gave a small smile as she slowly wrapped her arms around Hiccup's middle and rested her cheek on his shoulder.

They made their way back to the cove and Astrid was the first to jump off Toothless, landing with a small thud on the ground. Hiccup soon followed and chased after her as she went to go tell the chief, his father, about Toothless.

"Astrid, Astrid," He skidded to a stop right in front of her, "Please... Please don't tell my father about toothless. He's not ready..."
"Don't worry. I won't. I promise." Hiccup sighed in relief and looked at Astrid with his lopsided smile. She looked away with her cheeks turning a light shade of pink, hiding it under her fringe. She punched Hiccup in the shoulder which almost made him fall over.

"Oww!! What was that for?" He asked as he rubbed his arm. He looked at Toothless who was drinking from the lake and gestured to her as if to say, 'What...?' But all he did in return was shrug his shoulders and return to drinking.

"THAT," She clarified, shifting her stance, "was for kidnapping me." She brushed her fringe out of her eyes and took a deep breath, quickly putting her hand on his shoulder, pulling him in towards her and gently pecking his cheek. "And that's for... everything else." She added as she backed away, leaving him standing there with his hand on his cheek, sighing softly. Toothless came up beside him and nudged his shoulder. Hiccup stroked him on his head gently and scratched him under his chin.

"Thanks buddy. You really helped me with that one. Thanks for pulling through." He watched after Astrid as she disappeared into the bushes and back to Burk, "Maybe I can find a way to explain to everyone that we can live together without killing each other and living in fear. All I know is that I have no idea what I'm going to do when I have to face that dragon tomorrow."

A.N. A bit of a lame ending I know but give me a brake. I couldn't think of anything else that would suit it. Have the same vibe. But there you go. Tell me what I need to improve on and if enough people comment, then maybe I will do another chapter. You are the judges of that.

Until next time.
