It was night as the pair of boys entered their shared room. They looked around for a second then focused at two objects against the wall: A couple of beds.

They glared at the beds, then turned and glared at each other. Though the blonde's glare was remarkably colder, the red head didn't look away.

"I'm top tonight," Mello growled.

"You were top last night," the gamer countered. "I'm top."

"Like Hell you're top." Mello crossed his arms. "I'm on top, you're on bottom. That's it. The end." He walked over to the beds, wanting to lay down before Matt grabbed his arm and pulled him back.

"Mello, I'm on top, tonight. We made a deal."

Mello tried to glare once more, but then he saw him, or more importantly at the moment, saw his eyes.

Those damn puppy dog eyes.

"I don't care. I'm on top," Mello said once again. He was trying not to waver under the power of those eyes. He really was. But Matt just kept staring! And it was starting to get really hard! Mello knew he had to win this fight soon because the longer it went on, the closer Matt was to winning. And he's not going to be on bottom tonight.

But how to beat those eyes? Mello wondered for a second before inwardly smirking.

What better way to win than by using your opponent's strategy?

Mello stopped glaring, turning his eyes soft. "Matt," Mello practically sighed out. "I really want to be on top tonight."

'Shit. He's trying to beat me at my own game. When Mello's mad, you gave him what he wants out of fear. But when he's asking nicely...?' thought Matt, the only person Mello was ever nice to.

Oh, but of course, the gamer had a lot more experience at this game. And he would win. Because Matt always won when it came to games.

"But, Mel," Matt said, using Mello's nickname. "I let you be on top last night." He looked at Mello with his puppy dog eyes, summoning all he's cuteness in his eyes while Mello bit his lip, trying to gather any the willpower he had left. Which wasn't a lot.

"Please?" Matt asked, his voice sweeter than Mello's chocolate.

And with that one word, those two dark green puppy eyes, that adorable voice, any self-control Mello had left was gone.

He sighed. "Fine, Matt. You can be on top tonight," he declared, giving in. Matt was the only person he had a sweet spot for and the gamer most definitely used that to his advantage.

He brightened, walking over to the beds with an extra bounce in his step. "Thanks, Mello."

"Yeah, whatever." The blonde went over to his bed for the night, the bottom bunk. Matt climbed up the ladder and layed down in the top bunk. Within minutes, the two fell asleep.
