A Look In The Mirror. +)
I don't own Death Note.
Note: This story was encouraged by a friend of mine,
It isn't very highly graphic, (well, as graphic as a WRITTEN STORY can be, anyway.) in nature.
As a dare, my friend asked me to show her something graphic, and to take hatred for a recent event out in a story.
Sooooooo...here ya go!
It's not a pumpkinhead spine spatter story, but hey, I'll write you something special sometime.
On with the fun.

"You should take a good look in the mirror, one day that's all you will ever have" Shaun's older brother growled.
His brother was cruel, a sick, selfish liar.
He was also an adult, whereas Shaun was only a teenager.
His only goal, was to hurt Shaun.
"You know what? if you're so depressed, why don't you take the gun I gave mom, and go blow your damned brains out?" he said, slamming the door.
Shaun was 17, he had a new beginning to his life, which was previously a disaster.
He had lost his father in a wreck just weeks past, the depression left his a little "needy"
Too much so, at least in his brothers eyes.
Shaun only wanted someone to care, to say "I know it hurts you too"
Instead, his brother told him to grow up, to face reality that "Daddy ain't comin' back"
Shaun knew that, any idiot could see when a parent dies, it's goodbye.
But His brother was cruel, heartless, and would say anything to shut someone up and make a point.
Shaun grew to hate him, Until one day, he found a small notebook.
It was black, and had the words "Death Note" Scribbled wildly across the cover.
He opened it, read some rules, and suddenly realized his wish had come true.
Shaun wasted no time in fishing the pen out of his pocket, and began to write the most gruesome, horrible death he could.
Soon, everyone began to avoid Shauns brother.
All According to plan, for Shaun gave him a taste of his own personal fear of lonliness.
His brother would see how much it hurt to be alone, just like Shaun.
One day, His brother was alone in his apartment, when Shaun came to visit.
"Hello brother, do you remember three years ago? you told me to look in the mirror...for it's all I would ever have?"
His brother raised his middle finger, and slammed the door in Shauns face. "I DON'T NEED YOUR PROBLEMS KID!"
Shaun laughed, "It's a shame you did that brother! I was all you had left." Shaun grinned, and turned to walk away.
In his apartment, Shauns older brother would later that night trip in his bedroom, he would land and break three of his ribs on the bedpost,
As he limped forward to try and get to the phone to call for an ambulence, he would slip again, smashing his skull against the floor.
As his vision blurred, he noticed under the bed the gun he had given his mother, who had just recently given it back.
Shaun had tried to take his life that night, just as his brother had said.
What stopped him was his girlfriend catching him in the act, and stopped him, then over the next few weeks convinced him she needed him to live.
Shauns brother tried to stand, realizing he couldn't, and there was no way he could stop the bleeding in time.
Shaun's brother, was alone.
As he gripped the pistol, loading one single bullet in the chamber, he realized karma had come to haunt him.
Why was he doing this? it made no sense, he didn't want to die! it was as if some incredible force was pulling puppet strings over him.

Shaun's brother said goodbye as he closed his eyes and pulled the trigger.
The bullet flew quickly from his hand to the wall behind, his skull shattered into pieces and his blood spattered across the wall.
His eye burst out of place and rolled across the room, his brain stem hung from the exit would as the cell were now decorations across the floor.
Shaun sat on the roof, staring across the city at the sun setting in the sky.
A demonic grin took over his face,
"Goodbye, You're no longer a part of my life, nor I, your's."
