This was originally part of a different story, but I went with another version there. My husband liked this one so much, I decided to keep it as a separate stand alone, so I changed the ending a bit. I don't own the Big Bang Theory. At least, not until I finish construction on my time machine.

She took a deep breath and opened the door.

He took a steadying breath and offered her his arm

She followed every traffic law and drove 3 mph under the speed limit.

He opened the door and pulled out her chair.

He ordered the fettuccini alfredo.

She ordered the spinach ravioli.

He explained the health benefits of leafy vegetables.

She told him about girl's night with Amy and Bernadette.

They walked to the theater.

He wanted to watch Total Recall.

She wanted to watch Hope Springs.

They compromised and watched Total Recall.

After he agree to upgrade her laptop.

She couldn't hold his hand.

But only because he had it around her shoulders.

She did hold it on the way back to the car.

They were quiet on the way back to the apartment.

They were quiet on the way to their floor.

They could hear their friends giggling behind the door to 4A.

Penny opened her door and pulled him inside.

Sheldon threaded his fingers in her hair.

Penny tilted her head back.

Their lips met tentatively.

Then more firmly.

After several minutes they pulled back.

"I always thought I was more of a dog person," Penny said.

Sheldon frowned with confusion.

Penny smiled. "I love Schrodinger's cat."

Sheldon smiled and pulled her close again.
