Hey! This isn't my usual fandom, I wrote this at the insistent prodding of one of my best friends (bubblemoon66), who couldn't bring herself to desecrate her most dearly-beloved fandom. I, however, feel no such restraints. Evil laugh

Grace stared at Lorcan in amazement
Grace stared at Lorcan in amazement, the look on his face mirrored Sally's… which was exactly the same look that she had noticed on the faces of boys at her old school when the stared at their crushes. There was much, much more there than what appeared on his face when he looked at her, and it tore her heart in two.
She flounced off to her room, giving an air of annoyance to hide her heart-break.
Lorcan stared after the mortal that had become his best friend. Sally was back, but if Grace was unhappy, then nothing else mattered until she cheered up. He followed her into her room, where he found her sat, dejectedly, on her bed.
"Hey" he said softly, "What's wrong?"
"Nothing, what could possibly be wrong? The mother I thought was dead has returned without even an apology for not being there my entire childhood or even an explanation for where the hell she's been all these years and not only does she seem to be in love with my vampire best friend, but he seems to reciprocate. What in God's name could be wrong?" she replied, angrily.
"Grace…"
"No, don't even bother. I don't care about explanations or apologies from a stupid bastard who couldn't at some point in all the time I've known him be arsed to tell me that my estranged mother was actually ALIVE!" she screamed this last part as all her anger was let loose.
"Just listen to me!"
"No!"
"Grace, I only met Sally once. Our ship rescued her just like we rescued you. She was in her mid-twenties at the time, and we bonded instantly. One night…"
"What Lorcan?"
"Doesn't matter. What matters is that Sally and I only knew each other for about a week, and I didn't know she was alive now."
But Grace was thinking hard now about what Lorcan had almost said. A chilling idea hit her, she turned to Lorcan.
"Lorcan, how long ago was this 'night'?"
"About 14 years…" he trailed off, his pale face turning even paler. Grace nodded.
"I think we need to talk to Sally."
The pair strode out onto the deck, where they saw Sally and Connor catching upi by the railings.
"Mother?"
"Yes my love?"
"We… Me and Lorcan, that is, need to talk to you urgently. Like, Right NOW!"
"Um, okay, what about?"
"There was a certain… night, that you and Lorcan spent together. 14 years ago, to be exact."
Sally's face went white.
"So, I guess you know the truth."
"We've guessed most of it."
"Guessed what?" Connor interjected from behind his mother. Sally turned to face him and smiled slightly at the puzzled expression on his face, and the unconscious hand he was running through his hair.
"Ah, I know that look. Your father had that look when he was puzzling something out too."
"My- father? But… Dad never touched his hair, he said that was how lice were spread, and-" he broke off, as he saw Lorcan threading his long hair through his fingers as he stared at Grace, obviously thinking hard.
"what the… Oh. My God. You two… me and Grace…" he trailed off again and then, after a moment of complete shock, suddenly burst into explosive laughter.
"What's so funny?" Grace asked peevishly.
"You- you-" he struggled to get control of himself. He finally succeeded and managed to get out " YOU FANCY YOUR DAD!" before collapsing into uncontrollable mirth again.
