As Alex Mercer sat on a skyscraper, only one thought went through his mind.
Elizabeth Greene was a hoe.
Yes, it was true.
A slut, whore, hooker, broad, Jezebel, harlot, call-girl... She was every word he could think of at that moment that had to do with fucking in general. He swung his legs off the skyscraper, kicking the air.
A dick-sucking, anal-loving, cum-guzzling cunt of a woman.
It was all beginning to make sense now. Why he could smell these same but slightly different scents of the REDLIGHT virus that were coming from the West. Since they were always very faint when they arrived at his location in the U.S, he determined that the place was overseas. However, the scents were not foreign to him, after all, he had consumed many, many people. It just so happened that few of them were of Asian descent; even fewer of them from the place where the scent was coming from.
Japan.
He had never been overseas to Japan before; but from the memories he had, it was a good place to be. It was a lot livelier than the U.S and much more crowded. Bright lights, nightlife; it was exciting. It made him want to go, yet he knew he couldn't for two reasons.
1: His sister. If these scents were what he thought they were, there would be much danger. Hell, possibly much more than he had experienced so far. If Dana was caught up in the mess, he could (actually, he probably would) kill everyone in Japan. Even if he went alone, there were still the dangers of this city. BLACKWATCH, Military, Infected... They would be able to target her and he could do nothing about it.
2: Water. Overseas, meant there would be water involved. The virus hated water with a passion. Alex had tried, tried so fucking hard, to tolerate water. He had tried all kinds of different variants of the virus on sea-life. Consumed so much fish that he began to smell like it. But not all his work had gone to waste. He had something akin to gills on his neck allowing him to swim in water for an amount of time. He had been practising, but up until now, he could only swim for around 2 hours. Any longer would cause problems to his systems.
Set on at least seeing what these smells were coming from, Alex jumped from the skyscraper and began his glide to his sister's apartment. Hopefully, BLACKWATCH & the Infected would be too preoccupied to notice him.
Hearing a roar and the sound of gunfire, Alex guessed not.

He arrived at the battle; it had pretty much started. Hunters tipping over armoured vehicles, BLACKWATCH firing wildly and never actually hitting the damn targets in front of them, infected groaning and attacking. As he landed on the building nearby, Alex took a deep breath of the foul air. It was the same as always. He stepped off the building and landed on a Hunter's head; crushing the rest of the body completely. Alex quickly absorbed it as tentacles stretched out and fed on the dead monstrosity.
The Soldiers and the Infected realised that they had an unexpected guest and turned towards him. Alex grinned, his biomass shifting into the blade he used commonly. Alex could see the Adam apples of the soldiers dropping as they realised just how seriously fucked they had become.
"This is Squad Commander 0169 to Control: We have the virus. Repeat we have - AAARRRGH!"
An Infected had somehow snuck up on him, chomping down on his neck and managing to tear a chunk of flesh from the man. The battle started once more as men fired all over the place and tried to kill the Infected. Alex continued to watch humorously as the Infected tuned the tide of the battle and began to attack the soldiers much more viciously.
Then he moved, faster than the Infected had realised that they had been beheaded. Alex cleaved through their bodies as easily as a hot knife through butter; making short work of the things. The two other Hunters bounded towards him, snarling as they tried to attack him. Alex raced passed them, cleaving through their bodies. Their bodies flopped to the floor.
The rest of the Infected raced towards him while groaning loudly. Alex shifted his biomass once more; becoming his iconic claws. As they neared him, he simply swept his hands across; shredding the Infected as they neared him. Tendrils shot from him as he absorbed all their genetic material. Soon enough, only the splatters of blood were left on the pavement, walls and vehicles. The three remaining BLACKWATCH soldiers had long since stopped firing to watch virus destroy the monsters for them. Alex turned to them and they immediately froze, still as statues. Alex chortled at their behaviour but left them nonetheless.
He had better things to do.

Dana heard her door open as she opened a can of beer. Swivelling in her chair, she was met with her blood covered brother entering the room. She rolled her eyes at his attire. But turned back round to her computer as she waited for him to tell her what he wanted.
"I need you to search anything going on in Japan." He asked; his voice low, almost a whisper. With a small hum of confirmation, she obeyed and searched up all she could. She herself was surprised at the results that greeted her.
"The fuck is a Ghoul?" She said, and her response was her brother leaning over her shoulder as he read reports on Ghouls and their deeds. He smiled as he saw a video of one in action; feeding on a corpse. As the Ghoul turned around, Alex caught a glimpse of its crimson irises, yet black sclera. "Damn, that's pretty fucked up..."
"I agree," Alex replied. Dana continued to look at other reports on them. "What's the CCG?"
Dana used a few seconds to look for information on them before replying:
"Commission of Counter-Ghoul; some Burea that deal with Ghouls. They have legal standing to do their shit too."
"Damn. It's another BLACKWATCH in disguise..."
Alex moved away from his sister, shifting around in the dark.
"So... What's the big deal with Japan? You finally trying to move out of this hell hole?"
"... Maybe."
Knowing that she wouldn't get much more out of him, she stated her mind:
"Well just tell me when you're ready because I need to pack my bags for this trip."
The response was immediate.
"You won't be coming with-"
"Oh Hell to the fuck NAW! You're going to Japan and you're not taking me?! I'm going with you. I need a fucking vacation of my own y'know?!"
"But it'll be too dangerous. I don't even know what I'm up against-"
"So by leaving me here with the Hunters, BLACKWATCH and Infected looking for my sweet ass, you think I'm gonna be safe?"
"Well... I could-"
"Don't even think of handing me back to BLACKWATCH, because I will tear you a new face if you even try it."
"... Fine. "
"That's what I thought."
Alex left the room as he headed off. If there was a slight chance that the CCG and BLACKWATCH were connected, he would find out.

The BLACKWATCH Information Centre. A hidden base near the edge of Manhattan that held all data on BLACKWATCH.
Four soldiers were diligently doing their duty of patrolling the entrance when the roar of a vehicle engine was heard. The immediately got their guns at the ready, looking at the horizon to see, indeed a vehicle racing towards them. One had a radio.
"This is Commander 203 on Patrol to Command. Should we be expecting any visitors?"
"Negative soldier."
"Permission to begin firing on vehicle heavily approaching the Information Centre?"
"Permission granted. Hit it with everything you got."
"Affirmative."
The soldiers began raining down suppressive fire on the vehicle now confirmed to be an armoured Tank. Unfortunately, it didn't seem to slow down the vehicle one bit and it was soon upon them.
Alex rammed the Tank straight through the entrance to the Blackwatch Information Centre, causing all sorts of commotion. Soldiers barked orders at each other and surrounded the tank with their weapons in hand. Swivelling the turret, he unloaded a shell into a wall; killing a dozen soldiers in the process while opening a hole. People screamed and that brought the Infected, who began attacking the remaining the soldiers who had survived the blast. Alex jumped out of the stolen tank and blended in with the confused soldiers under the disguise of a marine officer. Picking up a dropped gun, he fired a few bursts to keep the infected at bay then headed inside the Base.
At every corner, BLACKWATCH soldiers were shouting orders or running about, trying to figure out what the hell was actually happening. Absorbing a soldier quickly, he scanned through the memories and located the Central Hub of Data; hopefully where the answer to his problems was. Kicking down the sealed doors, he entered the large, round room with computers at every corner. Thankfully, they hadn't been shut down, so he quickly plugged in a device then called his sister.
"Hey, bro. Just logging in. I'll download all their stuff real quick. Just ensure that no shit goes down, y'hear?"
"Loud and clear sis," Alex replied, shifting into Hammerfist mode as a Hunter struggled to enlarge a door. It snarled as it continued struggling to break through. "Loud & clear."

3 hours later, Alex was back with his sister, looking through the stolen confidential data from the BLACKWATCH base. They had been searching for awhile but had no luck thus far.
"Nothing here on CCG either, Bro. God knows I've tried to look for something along that name but nothing has come up. They don't have any connection."
"... Just search anything to do with Japan then."
She obeyed.
"Some shit about Japanese brothels, more shit about releasing a virus in some place in Japan... Boring stuff, bro. And something about project PARIAH?"
That made Alex turn his head swiftly. He walked over to her.
"Check that one. What does it say."
Dana opened the folder and looked at its files. Her brother peered over her shoulder.
"Project PARIAH moved to Japanese Squadron, held under their authority, escaped custody and running loose..."
"Ghoul Countermeasure Burea; also known as the CCG. Main base in Tokyo." Alex read, moving back from his sister once more.
"Seems we've finally found it." Dana sighed, leaning back in her chair. She rubbed at her tired eyes.
"You better go pack your bags," Alex said, looking out the window to the shit stain of the city.
"What? Why?"
" 'Cus we're leaving now."
"Oh, come on. At least let me weep and cry at leaving my beloved apartment."
The comment was sarcastic as she moved into her room and began to pack.
"Goodbye, hell-hole." Alex stated, closing the curtain.
