WOULD YOU RATHER…
Travis's Pov
"Hey Katie, Hey Katie, Hey Katie-Kat," I said.
"What do you want Travis?" she asked with tiered annoyance in her voice. She was walking by the strawberry fields, I was following her, and it was about an hour before dinner.
"Let's play 'would you rather'!" I said, praying to the gods she would say yes, I had a plan... She looked surprised, and then she made a smirk that was almost as good as mine ALMOST. We walked by Conner and his girlfriend, Haley, holding hands, heading for a walk along the beach. The ADHD part of my mind was surprised he was taking it slow, for once.
"Okay." Katie said. I could tell she was trying to hide her excitement. We walked a little farther and sat down at Katie's favorite tree. I know that it's her favorite because she always sits under it when she is reading, or taking a break from picking strawberries.
"You first." I said desperately wanting to know why she was smirking so much.
"Ok, umm… Would you rather kiss Hades on the lips or listen to my mom rant on about cereal for 5 hours?" I had to think about that one… after some thought I answered…
"Kiss Hades obviously I'd rather go to punishment then listen to your mother rant on and on about the important of Cheerios." She looked slightly surprised.
"My turn!" I exclaimed, " Would you rather eat a cat or fuck a duck?" She lightly slapped my arm for swearing. She is such a good girl some times.
"Eat a cat, I'm not gonna louse my virginity to a duck!" I have to admit it was a logical answer. "Would you rather shave your head or date Drew?" Oh crap.
"Umm… but… how long would I have to date her?"
"Until you die!" she said excited with an .
"Shave my head defiantly. Would you rather where a bright pink dress or kiss me?" I know Katie pretty well, and if there is one thing I know it's that she wouldn't be caught dead in anything pink, epically if it was a dress.
"Kiss you." She said quickly her face turning the color of strawberries. I lightly laughed.
"You hate pink dresses that much?" I asked with a joking tone.
"No." she answered. I stopped laughing. "I just want to kiss you that much…" I looked deep into her forest green eyes to see if she was lying. She didn't appear to be. I leaned closer, caressed her cheek and pulled her lips up to mine. It was a short but sweet kiss. Her lip gloss tasted of strawberries, and sunlight, and everything good in the world. When we separated she looked at me her eyes twinkling with happiness. I could not control the grin creeping up on my face.
"And I wanted to kiss you even more…"
