"Yeah, I'll be down in a minute. I have to grab something from my room. I'll meet you two down there, okay?"

Hope nodded and helped Gabriel down the stairs. It was a lot easier this time, considering he didn't have to do as much work. Once they reached to bottom, Hope continued on to the kitchen. Gabriel watched her get out cookie dough and begin to stir the batter. Hope looked up. "It doesn't make you hungrier, watching me cook?" She asked him.

"It does, but I really would rather be by you." He said while wrapping his arm around her waist. She gave him a questioning look while he just smiled innocently. She rolled her eyes. "Am I not allowed to do this?" He questioned her. "Is it a rule I can't be near you?"

Hope rolled her eyes again. "Shut up, before I hit you with the spoon." She told him.

"Is that a threat?" He asked, grinning.

"Nope. A promise." Hope said, grinning as well. Gabriel rolled his eyes. Hope couldn't help but notice his arm was still around her waist. She stepped slightly closer to him, causing the gap to close between them. When Gabriel looked at her suspiciously, she smiled innocently like he did earlier. She caught herself staring at his chest, again. Damn… She thought. Stop looking, Hope. "You know Faith will kill you, right?" She asked him.

"Why's that?" He asked looking down at her. She was a really short girl. He noticed her staring at his chest. Mission accomplished. he thought happily to himself.

"She usually wants the guy to ask before he starts with me." She said smiling up at him.

"Who said I was starting with you?"

"Me."

Gabriel rolled his eyes but still smiled down at the girl beside him. Although it annoyed him he would have to ask, he knew he needed to ask Faith for permission before he started to try anything. "Okay, you win." He said. He started to move his arm, but Hope looked up at him, pouting.

"She doesn't have to know about this." She said, causing Gabriel to chuckle. She looked back to the cookie dough and started to finish it.

"You know you really are pretty, Hope?" He asked her. She stopped and looked back up at Gabriel. She smiled and looked away, hiding her blush. She knew he saw it, but she still was trying. "I already saw it, Hope." He said. She rolled her eyes. "Stop trying to hide your face." He said, turning her face so she'd face him. She started giggling and Gabriel smiled at it. They heard footsteps and looked up to see Faith and Michael. Faith was giving Gabriel a dirty look. Gabriel pulled his arm back slowly, much to Hope's dismay.
