The Other Side

Inspired by Saihate, which is by Miku, who was created by Yamaha.

Enjoy.

At the small light of an early dawn, Samus was sitting on the top of the Smash Mansion's roof. Looking out at the sun that was barely piercing the horizon, she started to wish that Snake was here with her.

Her piercing blue eyes were shining, not with battle adrenaline, but with sadness. She started to wonder how Snake would handle the emptiness in heaven without her.

Heaven. Was there such a place? If there was, did Snake get there?

If he did, Samus sarcastically thought, she would enjoy a letter from him. Leaning her head back, she remembered her last time with Snake.

Short Flashback

Snake placed his chin on Samus' shoulder, and stared out into the sunset. "Wouldn't this be a wonderful time to part, Samus?" he whispered in her ear.

Samus gave a short laugh and replied, "I suppose you mean that you'll die?" She hid her tears behind concrete walls. If this was her last time with Snake, then she wouldn't spend it crying.

End the Short Flashback

Ha. All because of one incident in the mansion, both of their lives were suddenly tangled. Once their lives were gray, a life without color, and then both of them met each other and then their lives were turned scarlet with affection.

What a short, bright life they had together.

Both of them loved each other very much, but then he just left her.

It was such a great time they had together.

Maybe one day she would meet him again, but in a happier place.

Heaven.

Her world was once again filled with gray, but with tints of red outlining the most important things Samus now saw in her dismal, gray life.

Samus began to think that when her life ended, at least her life wouldn't be filled with gray rain anymore.

It would be filled with colorful clouds.

As one said, Samus reflected, love never ends. She stood up and looked once more at the seemingly small sun.

It was such a great love, but then again, one always must say farewell.

Admittedly, I love Snakus and the song Saihate, so this is what happened. Incredibly hard to understand, but here's what I could understand from my own story: Samus goes to the roof and contemplates her life without Snake, and if Snake got to heaven. Her gray world means monotony, which is really hard to have in the Smash Mansion. Gray rain represents a sad life, and the clouds are supposed to mean a happier life.

If you could percieve, no OCs were used in this one.

RER! Read, enjoy, review!

Or not…Criticism is appreciated.
