So I started over from a previous story I was writing because I didn't like the way I presented it and thought about a new, this way, to create the story.

Essentially, this is the world of AvatarTLA in an The Office setting (or office au if you want to see it that way). What that means is there's a guide:

-"..."- means that the character is talking to the cameras

"Hello, this is F.L. Zuko, national manager of Konietzko-DiMartino Paper how can I help you today?"

--"I have to be honest, when you guys approached us for your-what was it? Documentary- I have to say I was honored."-

On the first day of his job, Jet was led by his new temporary boss through what looked like an animation studio, and through a single hallway.

"What is all this?"

Two men, one the company boss and the other a suddenly confused temp, had made their way through the studio to their branch to discover a crew of cameramen working around the busy employees desks.

-"Yeah I thought I was going to be working with the animation team more… I mean, the job flyer they emailed me said 'Does the world of animating interest you? Would you like to see where it all begins?'… Didn't know they were talking about the paper they use to 'begin' it. A little too specific."

"This is our receptionist, Katara."

Taking no notice of the salesman standing at the desk, Jet grinned and leaned forward on the reception desk.

"Hey cutie."

To his left, the salesman spoke up, "'Cutie' huh? You changed your name without telling me?"

The receptionist snickered, "I have to keep the mystery alive somehow."

She cupped her hand underneath her chin and Jet noticed the ring on her finger before it was concealed by her curly brown hair.

"Oh sorry man," Jet finally acknowledged the third man with a slight nod in his direction, "didn't know she was taken."

The salesman looked at him with a confused smile and Zuko cut him off, "Oh yeah but don't worry, her fiancée works down in shipping he'd never know about all the lovin' Katara passes out, right Aang?"

Their boss reached over and patted the two, now noticeably uncomfortable, workers on the shoulders, laughing. When he saw no one else had gotten the joke, he cleared his throat. "Alright! Aang, back to work, Katara back to whatever it is you do, Jet let's continue with the tour."

Aang was more than happy to leave the awkward air around Katara's space and, after briefly eyeing Katara to make sure she wasn't too affronted by Zuko's ability to constantly speak around the foot in his mouth, went back to his desk to 'work'.

-"My job? Well, first Zuko says… anything, and then I sit at my desk and come up with new ways to negate what he says. But, I guess you were talking about the job where I get paid to… sell paper..." –

"Good morning Sokka," Katara greeted the last employee to walk in with a hint of surprise in her tone, "you're a little late."

The anal employee froze in front of her desk leaned against it, and surveyed the room, "Someone parked in my spot."

Katara, deciding to humor him, followed his gaze, "Really? Who?"

"I don't know yet. Everyone downstairs checked out, even your betrothed."

"He actually talked to you?" Katara's whispered question went unanswered as Sokka nodded towards Zuko's office.

"Who's the new guy?"

"New temp."

Sokka made a face as he began walking to his desk, "And where exactly is he gonna sit?"

Sokka froze at what was his desk.

Was.

It didn't look like his desk anymore; a picture of a woman he'd never seen before, a different coffee mug and a tiny bison trinket. At the desk beside him, Aang let out a pained noise.

Looking up from his computer, Aang briefly bit his lip, "Yeah, Zuko was supposed to tell you…"

-"Oh also I uh, I prank Sokka. That's my second job, which I do for free."-

Really this is just me satisfying my need of making the atla cast do lame office jokes.
