The challenge word this week is Withdraw and when I found this quote, I could so hear Cas saying these words as they all sat on the sofa together watching old movies and eating popcorn.

"Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid." Job 13:21

200 words on the nose.

"Dean!"

Sam jumped as the angel's strident voice barked his cresting annoyance into the darkened room, popcorn, from the bowl resting on his knee spilling to the floor.

"What did I do now?"

Dean wailed petulantly, his face a mixture of lingering terror and embarrassment as Sam paused their movie viewing just as the 'Die Hard 2' plane crashed and burned into the runway.

"Withdraw thine hand far from me: and let not thy dread make me afraid."

The angel's voice was gravel as his ice-blue eyes stared at the hunter's hand where it clutched unknowingly at his trench-coat-covered thigh.

"Sorry, Cas..."

Dean smiled gingerly, removing the offending fingers.

"It's just that it's a scary movie and..."

His voice trailed off as the angel and his baby brother raised their eyebrows in disbelieving accord.

"Dude..."

Sam laughed.

"It's Die Hard, no one gets scared at Bruce Willis. Admit it, you're just a total girl about flying!"

The elder man pouted, his irritation turning to laughter as he saw their winged companion nodding earnestly in agreement.

"Okay. Sorry Cas. I guess explaining why your feathery ass was suddenly afraid of flying would be difficult in heaven."

Hope you enjoyed it. Let me know if you have time and thanks for reading.
